“Our main concern was that the air conditioner in our room sounded like a jet taking off. When the A/C would click on, it would hum (normal - no issues with that), then after a few seconds the room would abound with a thunderous noise for a few minutes. Once the room cooled, it would go quiet. Seems like this occurred a few times during the night.”

As an old organizational lodge, it has some quirks which we loved. We had a private bath but next time we'll save a few bucks with the shared bath option, using the lusurious provided robes, also perfect for the hot soak pool ofuro (you can cool off in the hallway shower). “My husband and I were so pleased with our stay. The room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was included and had wonderful hot options, not like other “continental breakfast” at other hotels. The patio area was nice and allowed us to have some downtime in comfort. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. We will definitely stay here again.”

“Overall the hotel was fine. Driving into the parking lot was tricky the first time. If hadn't read the reviews before hand I would have just passed right by since there isn't much warning.”
