“Lovely quiet location”

“Great little holiday home. Set in amazing gardens which was the highlight. Children loved the two swing/hammocks in the garden.Gave 4 stars and not 5 as the mattresses were not the most comfortable.”

“The once lovingly furnished house is unfortunately no longer in very good condition and furnishings. It would need to be thoroughly cleaned and the missing dishes, kitchen utensils, etc. replaced. The chimney flue is not working properly and the pressure of the hot water pipe for showers is poor. What was most annoying was the poor cleaning: cobwebs from the ceiling, thick dust everywhere, the furniture greasy from the fireplace. There was neither a mop mob nor a vacuum cleaner to help yourself....

“My family and I stayed at the French Mill Granary for 3 nights. We really enjoyed it. Our teenage daughter slept in the gypsy caravan which she loved. The garden was fabulous (our dog loved to run and discover various parts) and the swing was a hit. Everyone was very helpful giving us ideas about the places we could visit. We really enjoyed the Isle of Wight and staying at the the Granary which is in a very good location to travel around. Thank you”

“If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing place to stay then this is the place for you! It’s a very pretty location with a few divas next door (the sheep!) they love a rich tea biscuit and will make sure you remember them!! I had a fabulous time exploring the new forest and this was in the perfect location to come back and relax in…loved it ”

“Very comfortable accommodations for our party of 4 adults. Our only complaint was that the shower is very small and cramped if you are an adult, but we did appreciate having an enclosed shower. Enjoyed the location, within walking distance of Ventnor's shops and quite excellent restaurants. Ruth was helpful and very easy to work with. Would stay again if we return to the Isle of Wight!”

“If I did have to moan about something it would be that if didn’t have a kitchen and there’s an interior door leading from the owners cottage directly into the living room which I wasn’t too keen on but other than that we had a very nice comfortable stay, thank you so much ”

“What a find! A real home from home property, with everything you could wish for in a holiday let. Pictures on site are accurate, we asked for the twin beds to be fixed together to create a larger space, such luxury! Loved the feather duvet… The hosts were very welcoming and made suggestions for walks, trips and restaurants. A joy to stay in the fold yard and see the ponies in the paddocks. There is so much to do in the New Forest, staying in The Dairy Cottage was a real treat. Thank you for...

“We stayed at the beautiful Pear Tree Cottage for 4 nights while visiting places within the New Forest National Park. Both the park and the cottage are superb. The cottage is in a great location. Sarah treats you right. Clean and very comfortable. ”
