âWas allowed yo check in early then we could get on with our day.The room was lovely and very clean. The breakfast hamper was amazing everything in it was fresh and well presented.â
âThe location is a perfect ten, but the staff was far from good. First of all, it took us 1.5 hours to check in, and we didnât sense any effort to speed up the process. There was a complete lack of willingness from the staff to make our experience enjoyable.
Our room was also dirty, which unfortunately aligned with the poor check-in experience.

âWe arrived early and we were kindly allowed use of the spa, pools, sauna and steam room. Service is second to none. We would have liked to have eaten at Sean Rankinâs restaurant but, unfortunately there was a wedding being held there. Our meal in Fletchers was very good. Our (cosy) room was on the top floor but next to the lift, which was fortunate. Everything was spotless and the bed was extremely comfortable. Very efficient room service. â
âLovely hotel, our room was great and breakfast fantastic. Didnât use the pool, fitness centre or spa so canât comment but they looked nice. Did do a 7km walk run on one of the recommended routes around the hotel which was very scenic. Weâll definitely return when the build is finished and new restaurant is open.â
âThe hotel staff were lovely, we were upgraded to a deluxe room with a hot tub, as it was my partners 50th birthday. Also a lovely touch, a bottle of prosecco waiting in the room with a card.

The historic manor house buildings are beautiful, tastefully updated to allow a glass-walled dining wing that looks out over the rolling green hills. Itâs a stunning setting.
