“The room was great for our needs, very spacious with comfortable beds and a large bathroom. I was holidaying with my teenage granddaughter and the twin beds gave us plenty of room. It was about a 10 minute walk to the harbour (anout 30 minutes to walk back, it's a very steep hill! Dont believe google maps that says mostly flat!) There is a bus stop outside the hotel but we didn't use it. However, on our last evenung we had a taxi and it was £4.50.”

The location is perfect - close enough to explore Whitby’s attractions but in a peaceful spot for a good night’s sleep. We couldn’t have asked for better hospitality. Highly recommended! ”

“Very welcoming- a lovely pleasant room. The bed was comfortable. We brought our own double sheet as we knew there would be a winter duvet in a heat wave!! The view from the window over the garden and Bagdale was good. We could have done with more loo roll and there was no coffee machine, but we would definitely stay there again.”
