“We went for my parents 50th wedding anniversary. Also a surprise of other family members oo which were kept secret. The staff were brilliant and so helpful and thoughtful. Food was great and could cater for 2 coeliacs too. They made my parents special occasion one to remember 💗 Location brilliant park and ride into Whitby so easy. Highly recomend and will be back im sure.”

“Room was okay, but only that. The room was clean and tidy, however the bed was very creaky, not ideal if you were planning to have a romantic weekend!! Shower wasn’t the most powerful and the shower head was fixed in position with a cable tie, so no adjustment. On a positive note, the pub food was good and the Theakston ales on the bar are very well kept ”

“Absolutely loved our stay here. Wildgoose cottage is lovely and we enjoyed every minute there. Living in a terraced house on an estate it was so amazing to stay here with such beautiful surroundings. To look out of the window and see deer, rabbits, pheasants and the horses in the field at the back. The cottage is clean and comfortable and fully equipped.”
