"The cabins in the 5,500 acre mountainous resort are very, very remote and the windy, hilly, narrow roads getting to them are very scary, especially for us senior citizens. We are from the mountains of Virginia, and we've never been on roads like this. We checked out after one night."

"Breath taking view! The property was as described and certainly more than we needed but I would not trade the relaxing experience for anything. Well equipped for our late arrival with no coffee on hand. Be sure to check out the nearby restaurants. One for breakfast and the other for afternoon dining. ..."

"The value for the money of this place was excellent. You have to pay a small fee for access to the Big Canoe amenities, but it was well worth it. Be aware, this is a cabin-like place in the woods. There are spiders, and lots of them. One or two may even get into your cabin or spin a web on your car. ..."
