“I absolutely loved this place! It was rustic and charming. The check-in was so easy, as was check-out. Communication from the owners was terrific. The location was quiet and it was nice to sit on the porch and listen to the creek. The outside of the cabins might need a little TLC. The bonus was the history of this place! People used to come from all over in the late 1800's and early 1900's to drink water from the spring, which was said to have healing properties. The hotel that used to be there...

“This was perfect for myself and 2 kids. They played in and very much enjoyed the stream just below the cabin. This location was an excellent base camp- short drive to lots of mountain area fun- The cabin was secluded, very clean and easy to access. Had everything we needed for our stay. I fell in love with the screened in porch. I felt like i was in a tree house. My favorite spot was the outdoor couch. “This was an incredibly nice house to stay on the river. The inside of the home was spacious, comfy and very clean upon arrival. It's a very well-kept home. The hot tub was a fantastic addition since we booked the place back in January, and it was a great amenity to wind up having. We used it each night! The house is easy to get to and is in a convenient location to town. The steps, as described are indeed steep and numerous, so this wouldn't be the best option for anyone with mobility...

“I loved the place overall, I only had a few things to mention. There was no shower caddy, there was alot of poison ivy on one of the trees near the deck. There were no directions for the ice maker or directions for connecting to the TV channels. It was very convenient to downtown and parks and trails. Will stay again!”

“It was an awesome cabin in the woods. Everything was great, the beds were very comfortable. We had to walk down hill to the river which was a little steep. Overall, I’d love to stay here again. “We had a great stay at this property. Came with my in-laws, my husband and my daughter to escape the heat. The drive in was beautiful, the weather was mild even in the dead of summer, and the views at the house were unbeatable. Lovely home with plenty of parking.
