“My neice and I only have wonderful things to say of the house and hosts. We felt so welcome and comfortable during our stay. It was truly home away from home. Michael made us a bog fire each night in both fireplaces. We were so appreciative. He is full of knowledge about the region from sites to see, to restaurants, to pubs, etc. We highly recommend this gem of a place nestled in such beautiful and enchanting surroundings.”

“A comfortable well equipped and spacious bungalow with outstanding views of Silgo Bay. The property was very clean, during our 3 weeks stay the the property was cleaned and bedlinen changed to cater for our family who stayed with us during the holiday. “This was the perfect location for our families trip to county Kerry. Close to the ring of Kerry, Dingle peninsula, and Kilarney. The three cottage set up was also great for multi-family accommodations. Finally, I cant say enough about the view! We would 100% stay here again.”

“We had a fantastic time at Winchmore Hill House. We had 2 families and the house was the perfect size for our large group - not too small and not too big. The large group would usually congregate in the kitchen/dining area which worked great especailly w/ the easy access to the patio. We visited many towns on our daily tours but were glad that we picked Kenmare as our base as again it was the perfect Goldilocks fit small and quaint but still plenty of restaurants and shops to choose from.”

“Great accomodations for a group of 4 - plenty of room to move around! The apartment was modern and clean, with a beautiful view of the city. Location made it easy to get around town; only a five minute walk from the train and bus stations and maybe a 10 minute walk to the Latin Quarter. Would definitely recommend.”

Great location, not very soundproof rooms
"We had a decent stay at Galmont. This review is based on a deluxe room with sea view. Good: - Close to train station and main streets. - Very friendly staff. - Spacious room with nice view. Could be better: - Soundproofing in rooms. We heard both TV noise and people talking from adjacent rooms. Noise from the road outside was also fairly audiable. Earplugs are highly recommended. - Draft from window, not very well sealed. - Quite slow and not very attentive service in the Coopers restaurant when we visited. Food was good though."
