“This place is a hidden gem, I really enjoyed this little family getaway. Each yurt has a stove, a campfire come bbq outside our yurt. Your own parking space. Your own bathroom. A communal shower and a communal kitchen with your own press equipped with all you need for cooking and dining. And your own space in the communal frigde. The beach is a 15 minute walk. A shop and pub close by too. And fota wildlife is a 25 min drive. Lots of things to do around the site for kids too. There's animals on...

“We enjoyed our stays, the host was friendly, welcoming and very knowledgeable. The room was cosy, clean and tidy and worked for us. The host made some soup for our arrival as it was a cold wet day when we arrived. Would recommend :-)”

“This cottage is well-equipped and in a quiet and lovely part of County Clare. The outdoor space is very useful. Dining space was good for the 4 of us. Views of the sunset were great. The drive to get there is a bit tricky. Irish country lanes are narrow and wind around a bit. Overall, wonderful stay and would stay here again. ”

“What a great experience! Lovely home right in the countryside but a 10 min walk to a very cozy pub. Loved this place. Great location within county Donegal as well. Can get anywhere in the county in about 90 min or less. Very safe, very quiet. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.”

“This very charming, historic site served as a wonderful «centralized base » for exploring Cashel, Tipperary, Kilkenny and Cork, allowing us to do multiple day trips to these cities. More than enough room for the 4 of us, could easily fit two families of four. Though the age of the property comes with some quirks, would definitely recommend!”

“Maginstown house is perfect for large family groups. It is beautifully quiet and yet in easy reach of lots of interesting towns, cities and countryside. The house is brilliantly equipped with everything you could possibly need, including of basic kitchen staples. Nicholas is an excellent, thoughtful host for whom nothing is too much trouble. A gem of a place! ”
