“We wanted a quiet, rural retreat in a character cottage and this place totally delivered. It may not be for everyone, but we knew what we were getting when we came. The house was built in 1710. “We enjoyed our stay so much. Everything was so well thought and well provided! The cottage was charming, cosy and had everything we could ask for. Our son especially loved that there was a little train with railroad to play with:) We rented it for two weeks but could have stayed much longer if our work had let us:) The little town was beautiful and from the cottage we had walking distance to the center, food store and the canal. “A lovely cottage with history and character. As mentioned in the listings it would not be suitable for someone very tall or with difficulties. Facilities are excellent everything you need supplied. Parking is free but beware spaces can be all taken - it states 23 hours stay - no return for an hour, so be aware there is a car park attendant around! Cottage is within easy reach of the town and Abbey. A lovely stay”

“We stayed at Whitley Coach House to spend a few days in the area before attending a wedding in Frome. Tim and Ginny’s communication was excellent, and they were even kind enough to provide a travel cot last minute as we had ordered one ourselves that we didn’t think would come in time (although it did in the end). The coach house itself was spacious enough for the three of us, with everything one might need for a few days away. ”
