Grounds are a botanical garden of hundreds of palms. Private setting on a good road convenient to local shops & Gov Harbor. We will be a back for a much longer stay.”

The cottage is perfect for a quiet getaway but also close enough to restaurants, Island Farm, GHB airport, and Governor’s Harbour do things when you want to get out. “Beautiful pink beach steps away from the cottage. Great snorkeling with colorful, tropical fish and beautiful rocks. We saw a stingray, turtles, and possibly a couple of sharks. There were two cute mama birds nesting on the beach. We got to see the eggs and then the last day the babies after they had hatched. We enjoyed using the kayak and snorkeling gear. “The house was beautiful to match the view. It was super clean and well-kept. It was nice to have items like beach towels and a cloth cooler to be able to use. It was easy to find and a perfect distance from Governor's Harbor. We were greeted by the owner, and she later graciously resolved an internet issue. She followed up later to make sure it was still working. In our opinion, this home is located on the prettiest beach of the island. We will certainly be coming back!”

“We last visited Eleuthera 40 years ago for our honeymoon. Yes, there have been some changes, however it remains a destination for unspoiled beaches. The Simple Life Cottage was the perfect place to experience this. Watching the sunrise in the morning and seeing a million stars at night. Magical watching fireflies in the nature landscape. “My boyfriend and I had an amazing time at chez Cay. The hosts were the Best! Erika and Scott! They answered us each and every time we needed anything. They gave us suggestions on where to see music and get good food! Scott showed us how to gut Konch shells! In was such a cool experience. “This is a very nice house in a good location. While it is not waterfront there is a good view of the Atlantic from the front porch and easy access to central Eleuthera - Governors Harbor, James Cistern, and many beaches on both the Atlantic and Caribbean. The house itself is spacious, modern and well-maintained. Large double doors on the front of the house provided cooling breezes both day and night. The owner was very responsive to our very few needs.”

“My husband and I had an amazing stay. There was a slight mix up upon our arrival and the house was not ready for us when we arrived, but Lachadra came over immediately to help and we were able to stay at the larger property next door for a night which was nice. Orchid Cottage was the perfect size for my husband and I and had all the necessary amenities. We spent our time exploring the island via the rental car provided. “The property is set off the main highway making it easy to find but there is very little traffic so highway noise is not a problem. The beach is a great walking and swimming beach. The water is relatively shallow allowing one to walk out 50 yards or so and being only waist deep. It would be perfect for those who like to just swim or sit in the cool water.
