“Upon arrival at this house we were greeted with an unkempt lawn and a key pad that would not unlock the house. Once inside we were blasted with a stale, moldy, old-smoke smell. Upon further inspection, we found hair in the shower and on the back of the toilet. One of the toilets was most definitely not cleaned as it had poop on the sides of the bowl. “This was a decent rental for the money. The sofa is almost not usable - you can see the lumps and feel the springs under the slip cover. The listing wasn’t clear there would be people in the basement. You could hear them sometimes through the vents. But the unit was very clean and suited our purposes. ”

“The stove wasn’t working and periodically gave a beep (similar to a fire alarm low battery). We didn’t need it so just unplugged it. The owner was responsive and offered to fix it but since it didn’t impact us we told them it could wait. Only mentioning in case it still isn’t fixed for the next renter so that they have proof it’s a known issue. ”
