“Fresh cut flowers in vases on every table greeted us. The house was immaculate; the lawn looked like it was in a fight with the local fauna. (We saw some very cute wild pigs.) The kitchen was well stocked. We were pleased with every aspect of the home and our stay.”

“This is our second time staying here. The yurts are lovely, comfortable and well equipped. The central skylight shows dazzling stars at night. Communication with Lisa is excellent and speedy and helpful. Love love love the view of South point from up where the weather is delightfully cool, but not cold. We hope to go back again if we can! “Dave and Wendy were excellent communicators regarding the check-in and check-out process. The VRBO had everything we needed for cooking, laundry, and escaping from the hustle and bustle of life. It was very convenient to get to Volcanoes National Park and Kona from their location. We loved using the French press coffee maker, enjoying the beautiful backyard view, and being surrounded by the sounds of nature. Stargazing in the backyard was one of our favorite memories at the place! 10/10...

“The cottage was fantastic. Had all the amenities. It was in a quiet neighborhood, with a view of a golf course, but easy driving distance to the Volcanoes National Park and the town of Volcano. We were very busy seeing the various attractions of the island, such as waterfalls, the black sand beach and South Point, and hiking in the National Park. We wished we could have spent more time at the cottage. Highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again. ”

“Todd’s place is an amazing hideaway near Volcano NP. Easy access into the park and the hot tub is perfect after a long day hiking in the park. Great place and awesome host!”

“This is our second time to stay here. We loved it, and came back because it was so quiet and comfortable, and such a beautiful place and view. The yurts are well equipped and clean. The elevation makes for comfortable cool, but not cold, nights. The central sky light is spectacular at night with so many stars. It is calm and quiet and beautiful with various flowers. But it is easily accessed from Kona South Point and Volcanoes National Park. If we get back to the big island again, we hope to...

“The property was in a convenient location for the volcano park and some beaches. It was quiet and a beautiful location. The only problem we had was the water pressure was not very good. ”

“We had a wonderful stay at La Cappana. The historic cabin is in a fantastic location in Volcano town right near the Kilauea Lodge with its fantastic restaurant and the Swap Meet at the community center, and a quick and easy drive to the best of Volcano National Park. Even though it is so close to everything Volcano has to offer, the property feels very private with lots of native plants and trees. We enjoyed watching all the birds with our morning coffees We had an added bonus of visiting...

“Having never stayed in a Yurt of grid i was Amazed at how nice it was. I followed the rule of laundry during the day and had no issues. I titled this country because of the chickens and dogs, if you want a quite nights rest this isn't for you. If you are used to dogs barking and roasters crowingfrom 3am on then you'll be fine. I actually Loved it there!!PS, pool had funky ladder to get in and didn't seem worth the risk But that's what the beach is for.!!Again i Loved it and would Highly...
