“This was a great place for us to stay while in town for the fishing tournament our son participated in at Sam Rayburn! We had plenty of space and the boat parking area was awesome. The ice machine is a great perk for filling up the coolers for lake trips… We put that to good use! Umphrey Pavilion is less than 5 min away as well as other boat launches. The owner was so kind and attentive when I had to contact him about the power outage during the storm & made sure to check in on us the next day....

“We loved the cabin! Super clean and cozy! The king bed was super comfy! Anything we needed was supplied. We would definitely stay there again but was not easy getting in and out of driveway with our F250 four door with a 21 foot Express bass boat. The driveway is narrow and makes a turn to get under carport. Other than that we would totally stay again but trying to not get in grass as requested was a challenge. The cabin itself is amazing and would recommend”

“This property was designed by a great fisherman Raul Morineau and his daughter Mariela. Raul has since passed and was at his peak back in the day. I fished against him and we became friends so I was surprised when I learned that I was renting from his daughter. Our stay was a great experience. As fishermen the 4 bathrooms worked very well for us in the early morning hours if you know what I mean. Thanks Mariela for the stay and the reminders of your dad. Those were great memories of days gone...
