“A lovely old country house with delightful and spacious gardens. Breakfasts were superb and the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The host and his staff were at all times friendly and attentive. We'd happily stay again.”

“Apart from my room which was warm and comfortable but lacked a bath towel, with only a shampoo and a very little round soap being provided, the whole place seemed sad and lonely.
