âCashed in some one key points for night away . Took the scenic route from Gateshead and visited Richmond , Aysgarth Falls , Grassington and Thirsk on the way .
Had a couple of beers in the beer garden , freshened up then a gorgeous meal in the orangery.
So glad we had booked as they were turning people away !
The staff were excellent- friendly , courteous and attentive.

âWe had an amazing stay it exceeded our expectations. Stayed in the Camelia Suite overlooking the outdoor pool. It had an outdoor terrace with seating.
Sunday lunch was the best weâve ever tasted and the breakfast was good produce and very tasty.
All of the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.
A special mention to Stuart on reception and Happiness and Mia in the restaurant. The bar staff were really good too but sadly I didnât note their names.

Rooms old fashioned and individual compared to todays ubiquitous greyness. This is what you would expect of an english country house. Surrounding coutryside is beautiful with good pubs serving great food. This is Yorkshire at its glorious best.â

âChapter Two is right in the heart of Malton, close to shops & restaurants. The rooms are spacious, with quirky decor & immaculately clean. Chapter Two is a lively bar for a G&T or cocktail, the staff are very friendly. We cycled to Malton and were abke to store our bikes in the secure lobby throughout our stay. Can't recommend this place highly enough!â

âExcellent site with great parking, accepts dogs into the pod and the costs of a one night stay we found very reasonable. Not many pod owners have just one night stays and that's why we stayed there. Give it a bash.
