The breakfast buffet at the hotel was overpriced and not good. It was cheaper the order from the menu. But we started going to other places for breakfast such as Casa Sofia which was a few min walk from the hotel. A lot of roadwork and construction outside the hotel area and the area is developing. The sidewalks were being constructed and had wholes and pits. Great streetfood in Tulum and overall safe with lots of military and police patrols and security cameras. Good options available for guided tours to the Cenotes, Chichen Itza and Valladolid and cheaper tour options available outside the hotel.
