“I would recommend Jo&Joe for your stay in Rio if the purpose of your visit is to see Christ the Redeemer since this place is steps away from the train that takes you to see the Christ. The staff was super friendly and helpful, always guiding us and helping us with our questions. They even went the extra mile helping us make some local phone calls since our phones would not work in Brazil. The hotel has pool and restaurant service which makes your stay nice and smooth. Thank you very much guys...

“Strange security system that requires you to be buzzed in upon arrival at the hostel, but if no one is at the reception desk, you just have to patiently wait until someone shows up to buzz you in (as I did for several minutes when I checked at around 2:30 pm on a weekday).”

“This place is better than a hostel. Everything that is up to the staff is perfect. The only problem are the guests. People that go to hostels can at times be loud and selfish, so in this case in the night they made noise when walking up and down the stairs in the back yard. A tip to the staff would be to try to discipline their guests.”
