Even in room with lights on it was difficult to read. Not so good for peaple with bad sight. New towels twice a day, Very good, an helpful staff.

If you like Art Nouveau architecture this hotel is one of the places to stay when in Prague! Outside, it was 35-37 degrees Celsius (early August 2017), but the airconditioned room was pleasantly cool. Once I had unpacked and ventured outside I immediately ran into a succession of noteworthy sightseeing items, such as the spectacular Art Nouveau Municipal House (Obecní Dům), which includes both a fine dining restaurant and a beer hall, as well as a concert hall. Passing through the adjacent Gothic Powder Gate (Prašná Brána) I then strolled along the old Celetná Lane with all its quaint shops, finally to emerge into the picturesque Old Town Square (Starometské námestí). From there, through quaint alleys, I worked my way to the lovely Charles Bridge. This was just the first evening of my three-day stay, and there was much much more to see and experience, all on foot, in the Old Town (Staré Mesto), New Town (Nové Mesto), and the Lesser Town (Malá Strana) with its castle region Hradčany and the nearby Petřín Hill, etc. To sum up: central Prague is a beautiful fairytale of a town, filled to the brim with stately buildings of all epochs, of nice restaurants, cafés and pubs for all tastes and discernment. As a consequence, expect a lot---and I really mean A LOT---of tourists, from all over the world.

Hotellet är mycket bra placerat vid stora torget i Old Town. Trots det är det inga problem med störande ljud utifrån, det var tystare än man kunnat tro med tanke på läget. Det är ett litet hotell med knappt 30 rum, vi hade tur och blev uppgraderade till hotellets största rum med två rum, stort badrum med badkar och en liten balkong på kortsidan mot torget! Frukosten var helt i vår smak och innehöll bland annat yoghurt med müsli och färska bär, varma rätter som skilde lite från dag till dag, färsk frukt och lite bubbel med jordgubbar om så önskas. Servicen i receptionen var bra utan att vara påträngande, personalen var trevlig överlag.

Jättefint hotell med bra service och med toppenläge i Prag. Gångavstånd till allt vi ville se och göra.
