"no pool, under maintenance. they overbooked the hotel due to a big tour group so they bumped us and another couple or two down the street to a very 1950s motel. the room was recently updated, but amateurs must have done the tile work. and the smoke detector was hanging from the ceiling, not interconnected ..."
