“A Lovely little cottage with all the tech you need in great location and our own gardener (Ted). We had a great time in a great little town. Only teeny issue was that Master bedroom is up very steep stairs so we snuggled up in the other bedroom: otherwise can’t fault a thing. Helen was really easy to contact and enable access.”

“We visited Driftwood for a long weekend. This was a really comfortable, well set up holiday home. Very well equipped, loads of games and puzzles, lots of beach’s equipment too. Embleton is a perfect base for exploring the area and is only about a 20 minute walk to the beach. From there you can of course walk for mikes and miles in either direction. 10/10”

“We love this part of the Northumberland coast and visit regularly, and we did have a good time. I do think this cottage is overpriced for the quality of accommodation. The kitchen and main bedroom are very nice but the rest is a little tired. The furniture is miss matched flat pack and the bedding is of poor quality. One of the sofas is very uncomfortable (kids said like their student digs) the curtains are far too thin and don’t keep the cold out, we had to buy a lot of wood to keep the lounge...

“The house is in a great location for accessing the Coastal Path- north and south there are great walks. Angela is a helpful host and the check in process was very easy. Unlike many other local properties we were able to book a two night stay which was great for us Our bed was very comfortable Lovely seat in the front garden for morning sun and sea views. The back garden has some pretty flowers and is a great place for late afternoon sun when the front is in shade, but we didn’t have any garden...

“A lovely home, only a few minutes walk to the beach and village centre. We were family of 5 with 2 dogs and there was plenty of room for us all. The house is very well equipped and Susan the owner has really thought of everything needed for a wonderful family holiday!”

“All worked perfectly with the handover. The instructions are very good for finding the house as GPS can be unreliable up there. It is way off the beaten track and very isolated. The road is bumpy but you do not need an SUV. The accommodation is very nice and we wanted for nothing as we brought up everything. The owner left some treats for us. “This property was fantastic, excellent location overlooking the sea. Perfect for 4 couples as each bedroom has its own en-suite/bathroom. Welcome basket of bread, jam, tea, coffee, butter and milk was nice touch. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you”
