“The Retreat has a number of rules for visitors including no alcohol on the premises and quiet time 8pm to 8am. We respected their rules. Last night the staff/hosts/owners had a party with very loud music, singing, shouting, doors slamming and football outside our window until 1am. I don't understand why they accepted paying guests when clearly they had planned a party; they haven't replied to my comments. If you want a quiet time, it can't be guaranteed here. “There was holes in the floor, the corners were dusty, and not just oh they forgot to dust, this has been built up like they only bother to vacum the centre. The floorboards does creak, the doors are loud when trying to sleep.”

“We had the best time in London! Sarah is an excellent host and very easy to communicate with. The house was close to many attractions and we walked to most sights. It was quiet yet super centrally located. We would definitely stay again!”
