“I really loved the room on the top floor facing Dover Castle. It was like having a wonderful piece of art just outside the window. I also loved the whiteness and the minimalistic interiors of the place. I used the kitchenette and it was totally fine except from the fridge which was so cold my fresh vegetables froze. “I was not aware of the aIcohoI free ruIe in the property untiI I read the house ruIes after booking, which meant I couId not enjoy a gIass of wine with my food. I was aIso disappointed with no kettIe in the room, which I thought was a bare minimum for pIaces these days. The shared fridge was aIso pretty fuII and I don't enjoy having to keep the food we brought in the car....I'd have a thought a smaII fridge in each room wouIdn't have put them out too much. That apart, it is a Pieasant enough...

“I was worried about the downstairs bedroom being cold and I messaged the host. He replied straight away and sent round a heater. Turns out I didn’t need it - once the heating kicked on the basement was toasty warm. We did run out of toilet paper and there were no pods for the washing machine but overall it was a lovely stay, thank you. ”
