“Allenberry brought the cozy, local, family style living to this resort. We enjoyed everything, esp. the fly fishing. What a find. Activities are in abundance and sometimes unique, like the Playhouse. We missed the spa but liked the sauna, hot tub, pickleball, fire pits, dining, and more. This was a fishing weekend, but next time, we will be sure to watch the availablity of special activities and plan our trip accordingly. Very relaxing spot with easy to talk to staff. We loved it. ”

“We frequently stay at B&Bs and this property outshone all the others. The bathrooms were all modern and very clean, comfy bed, great lighting in the rooms. The breakfast might have been the best part, however, and every day was delicious, filling, and pretty presentation. “We absolutely loved our stay at the Thornwald Mansion. It is nicely secluded in a park yet you are within walking distance to Dickinson College and a shopping center. The property has outstanding amenities and the food selections at breakfast were delicious. The service exceeded our expectations. The room and the bed were comfortable and very quiet.
