I usually enjoy my stay at the Westin, and send many clients to this location. Never again. There was a person at the front desk, a woman named Taneidrea, who was possibly the rudest person I’ve ever encountered in my 51 years of life. After my encounter with her, an older couple who was nearby told me that they had the same experience and were going to also complain. The entire staff there at the front desk, who should be representing the hotel, never smiled, spoke stoically and monotoned, and were overall just very cold. This person in particular, however, was incredibly rude when I asked her to add my Marriott Bonvoy points, and later after she knew I was staying there, approached my daughter in the in the lobby, where we were taking pictures before an event and asked me if I had a room there. I told her I had just spoken to her earlier. She proceeded to ask me for my name and room number. And, she did so with a very nasty demeanor. I understand that everyone has bad days, and she probably has a lot going on in her life, but as a professional, especially in hospitality, there is no place for that kind of behavior. I spoke to who I was told was the manager the next day, but I have heard nothing back from him. Therefore, I will be taking this to the next level. I spend far too much money with Marriott to be treated that way. Unacceptable, and I will not be back, nor will I send anyone else there. Ever.
