With free access to private parks on both the beach side and the Bogue Sound side (sunsets in summer), as well as two private boat ramps, you'll have endless opportunities to explore the natural beauty of the area. Just a short 0.3-mile walk to Ocean Park beach access with showers and a large ocean viewing area with a picnic table or a quick 2-minute drive (private free parking available), you can easily spend your days lounging on the sandy shores, or swimming in the refreshing waters. With your boat docked in the backyard, continuous enjoyment awaits with boat rides on the Bogue Sound, trips to Morehead City, Beaufort, Taylor Creek, Carrot Island, Shackleford Banks, and beyond.

For those looking to explore the local attractions, the North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores is only 1.6 miles away, offering a fun and educational experience for all ages. Not as advertised

We had primarily pick this place because we brought our boat and wanted to leave it in the canal but had not power to charge our boat. The house had a completely clogged bathroom sink and the couch bed was filthy, but the worst off all is the air conditioning would stop working. We went out to look at the unit outside and the lines were froze/covered in ice so we had to keep cutting the a/c off to let it thaw. Overall this was a bad experience for us, I hope they fix this issue because at least it’s a nice location.
