“We stayed here for our 5 year anniversary and it was a breath of fresh air! We live in Las Vegas, and it has been a goal for us to visit Sequoia. The dome as just an added magical touch to our dream vacation. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the property. The amenities were such a bonus! Definitely worth it! Thank you for making our anniversary so special and memorable ”

“This place was amazing and the host went above and beyond. The space comfortably fit 9 people and there was plenty of sleeping space, beds, and couches to accommodate our party. The place has everything you need to cook and prepare meals. There is a lovely patio area. We were able to fit 3 cars in the driveway. Overall, it was a great stay and we were able to go to Yosemite no problem. It took about 40 min to get to the South entrance and 30 more minutes after that to get to the valley foor....

“Overall a very nice place. The atmosphere was very peaceful and homey. My recommendations would be more towels provided. There was a set of two per person, which, if you set aside one set for after the hot tub use, you are down to one, which after daily hikes outside, is not the best for a stay greater than 3 days. My other thought was for better signage to find the unit. It is a sharp right and down hill from the primary residence, which can be hard to see from the driveway leading in....

“This was a great location for us to access Kings Canyon. There are other rental spaces (yurts) on the property but they are not close by and nothing is shared with them. We didn’t cook while there, but noticed decent cookware and spices and oil. Shower was tricky to figure out but was a nice hot shower. (Not for tall people though!). Bed was comfy. Excellent darkening shade in windows. ”

“We had a wonderful stay at the Squirrel! It was our home away from home while we explored Oakhurst and the nearby towns, ran the Yosemite Half Marathon (my incredible partner's first half!), and hiked the beautiful waterfalls at Yosemite National Park. The home is peaceful and quiet, great location in town (but still feels secluded), and we highly recommend it to anyone who wants a perfect basecamp for adventuring Bass Lake, Yosemite, and the other wonderful places nearby. ”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was clean upon arrival. Enough beds for a big family, modern appliances, and comfy beds to crawl into after a day at the lake. Nature is literally all around you. There was plenty of space for the kids to ride bikes, play on the playground, while the parents can sit on the large deck and watch the magic of exploration happen. "Overall a good place, although somewhat pricey (as most places close to Yosemite). However, a big negative was that the use of plastic cutlery and paper plates at breakfast. All of which went into the trash afterwards. That's really not sustainable and quite the opposite from the aura of Yosemite!"
