“The town is cute, the area is cute. The property needs to be further along. The water in the kitchen has a bit of rust, but the adjacent bathroom the water was better, which we used.The beds were comfortable, the shower ok. No way to control the heat… needs window upgrades, holes in floors patched.The Vrbo app horribly difficult and frustrating, that definitely needs addressing.”

“This was our 2nd visit to the Lodge, and it was a fantastic adventure again. We are older women, and 3 in our group decided to all sleep downstairs in order to avoid navigating the stairs, so I had the loft all to myself. The couches are comfy!It took us a few days to realize that we could stream videos of rivers and nature on YouTube on the projector, so we could feel connected to the outside world again. The lack of windows to the outside is the one downside to the Lodge, but the spaciousness...

“We booked this property for it’s proximity to the Ironman Oregon 70.3 venue. The location is less than a block from Riverfront City Park. Once we parked the car in the dedicated, secured parking spot, we hardly moved the car for the next 3 days. Many great dining places are within easy walking distance. The space had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There was an unexpected issue upon check-in, but Angela worked tirelessly over the next few hours to get it resolved and communication...

“Check in was very easy. Angela sent a video to my phone on how to access the opening of the doors. The loft was immaculate and very welcoming. Location to downtown Salem is right out your door. We never even used the car for the two days we were there. The beds were very comfortable the sheets were so soft. Kitchen was well stocked. Wi fi worked terrific. All in all Angela's loft was perfect. The Wild Pear restaurant was delicious and Isaac's Downtown coffee house along with Archive coffee...

“Had a great stay on the alpaca farm! We appreciated the adjustable bed, and the little touches like the snack basket and muffins. The kitchen was well-equipped, so we had everything we needed to make a home for a couple of days. Plus, our daughter loved loved LOVED feeding the alpacas and petting the dogs each morning. “It was a nice place and setting. There are too many rules, disclaimers, etc. that made it seem like I could not do anything or I would get charged for it. If you are ok with that sort of thing it's a great place to stay. ”
