“I tried multiple times to communicate with this host prior to scheduled day to confirm booking. I had zero response from the host, I wanted to make contact with this host due to other poor reviews about booking. However, this host never replied to any messages. The day I was supposed to stay at this property I showed up and was given the wrong checkin code. After calling the host they informed me that there was "no running water" and had to cancel my stay. They canceled my stay at the time of...

“We loved this house! The driveway and entrance was private. The living room and kitchen were perfect size and even had a small dining table. The room was very large and the bed was extremely comfortable. Laundry room was big. The bathroom, although a little small, was big enough to get clean and be on your way. The host did a lovely job of decorating and everything was very clean. In the morning we watched the deer in the back yard while sipping out coffee. Area was very quiet and easy to get...

“This beautifully maintained home provided everything we could possibly have needed, and the property offered the quiet country living we desperately craved. There were so many wonderful animals to enjoy, and our host was terrific at communicating! Among many extras included were swings under the huge shade trees, rocking chairs on the porch, a beautiful fire pit, etc. Best of all, our dogs were made to feel just as welcome as my husband and I were! We would love to return!”

“Everything was so nice, beautiful, and thoughtfully set up. There were refreshments in the fridge, coffee, and fans to make sure you were cool enough. We felt very comfortable. The only negatives were the pillows were a bit flat for our taste, and there was some creature leaving poop frequently on the sidewalk…. So had to watch our step. There was also a used tissue on the steps and full overflowing trash cans out front when we arrived. Very clean otherwise, and quiet neighborhood location.”

18. The Highland Hideaway-Walk to the Historic Square!

Gamla stan

“Pros-Super cute place! Beds are very comfortable. Host was pleasant and replied when needed in a timely manner. Good location. Cons-tub could use a new resin. Suggestions-maybe have a welcome book with what the area provides, like local restaurants, activities, markets, shopping, etc. and instructions for use of TV’s and checkout. With other locations we’ve stayed at it’s just been easier to have an easy access like a book with everything that’s needed for our stay.”
