"Le Sarment, Beaune historic district downtown

Le Sarment is a quiet, comfortable and welcoming ground-floor apartment. Next to the ramparts, shops and the town's most attractive wine cellars, and less than 10 minutes' walk from the HĂŽtel Dieu. Equipped kitchen opening onto a lovely dining area, large solid wood table, comfortable living room with sofa and two armchairs, two bedrooms overlooking the courtyard with comfortable bedding and private shower rooms. Washing machine. Bed linen and towels provided. Free shower gel and shampoo. Paid street parking. Free parking nearby (7-minute walk). Visit Beaune on foot from our apartment in a neighborhood steeped in history, close to everything but quiet. We look forward to welcoming you!

The apartment was well maintained clean and nicely furnished/decorated. It was in the old part of Beaune near the castle and ramparts and a perfect location for getting into the centre-ville. Audrey was a very helpful and informative host - would definitely go back again!

In a quiet section not far from downtown Beaune, easy walking to downtown for shoppings and to the various wine tastings places. Very well-equipped kitchen if you wish to cook and all the amenities you expect if you were staying at home. Host is very communicative and helpful. Please try wine tastings and tour the wine cellar at Maison Champy just across the street from the apartment. You will need to make an appointment on your own with Maison Champy.

Audrey met us at check in and was very fun and lovely, we felt like we knew her for years! There’s a thorough handbook with all the info you need to explore Beaune! Audrey also recommended a second hand store that was amazing! We spent 5 nights and we wished we could have stayed longer. There was parking available right outside the front door and with Audrey’s help we managed to figure out the parking ticket machine. The kitchen was very well equipped with nice Delongi espresso machine!

This property is very tasteful and convenient. The flat is roomy and well-appointed with every convenience available including a washer and dishwasher. Audrey was welcoming and available to respond to our questions We would highly recommend this lovely apartment in Beaune.

Audrey was very helpful, kind and easy to reach. The apartment was perfect for our stay for a few days. Well furnished and spotless, with well-equipped kitchen. On street, but quiet, quiet cute little cobbled street. All day parking about 100 yds away, 10€ a day. Very convenient. Restaurants all busy, so book well in advance ! (Several days or more if you can) Bakery and wine store 50 yds away. There are places to taste wine in town, we also visited 3 wineries (domaines) through an app called Rue des Vignerons, where we had tours and tastings. (That’s why we chose Beaune) Town center is quiet, clean, safe, ancient! (There’s a wall/ramparts around the old town) We rented bikes and cycles to Chassagne-Montrachet 15 km away. During harvest time. Unforgettable!

Beaune is a fabulous town and the house is ideally situated and within a very few minutes walk of the centre and station. There is a very good bakery and wine merchant within about 20m. The location is also very quiet. Audrey, our host, was superb. She was very friendly, accommodating, passed on lots of useful information and checked up with us the day after our arrival to check all was fine. This was very much appreciated. The house itself was spotless with a high standard of fixtures and fittings and all that you really need. Just one point to note - there is only 1 toilet which is separate from the en suites which do not have a toilet. Apart from that, all is terrific. I would definitely return here is I was ever in Beaune again.

My goodness, don’t think this place could be improved upon. Beautifully designed, finished, and furnished - top notch, an honor and a pleasure to be a guest in this curated home. Pix don’t do it justice :-) - it’s even better. The owners obviously take tip top care of this place: even the linens were just a joy, a welcome plush reprieve for (a little bit) weary travelers. Location is about a 3 min walk to the active “town”; it’s very quiet, otherwise. No a/c, so we sometimes had windows open. Staying here was a privilege. Communications on our end were tough (phone/email/US/VPN/etc), and yet Audrey was so courteously accommodating and welcoming. What a joy staying here was. Thank you so much, Audrey.

It was a great holiday in a phantastic apartment and in a beautiful area. The apartment is very close to the center and yet very quiet, superbly funrnished, very clean. We had an amazing stay at Le Sarment. The apartment is exactly how it is shown in the pics. It is comfy and very quiet and safe. We found paid parking right in front which was very convenient. There are lots of shops and restaurants near by and even a hair salon for a quick wash and blow dry. Communication with Audrey was easy and she was always available. Beaune is ideal for a stay in France, small town and not many tourists. Market day is Saturday so there’s lots of opportunity to mingle with the locals snd buy fresh produce.

Unser Aufenthalt in Beaune war vortrefflich. Die Lage der Wohnung ist ideal, da sehr zentral und mitten in der Altstadt aber dennoch ruhig. Die Wohnung ist wunderschön eingerichtet mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Der Wohnraum ist mit schöner KĂŒche und Essbereich. An beiden SchlafrĂ€umen sind die sehr sauberen BĂ€der angeschlossen. We were three female family members staying here for 3 nights. We LOVED this apartment and felt very at home straight away. It was very clean, the décor was very tasteful and the furniture comfortable. The location was excellent, it was in the old part of town, with everything just a 4 minute walk away. We were lucky and could always park outside the front door, for a part of that we did have to pay with the parking metre, but it was worth it. Audrey was a lovely host who greeted us when we arrived. If we come back to Beaune we would definitely stay here again.

This is a very lovely 2-room property with a great location. Our rental SUV was a very tight fit into the parking area behind the apartment. We drove a short distance to Monet gardens and the wonderful Baudy Hotel restaurant for dinner as it was too hot to walk. You will receive an email with instructions about the self-check in. The kitchenette is quite cute.

Wunderschöne Wohnung im Herzen von Beaune. Wir haben als Familie auf dem Weg an die AtlantikkĂŒste 4 Tage dort verbracht. Die Wohnung eignet sich perfekt, da man innerhalb weniger Minuten alles erreichen kann (BĂ€cker, Supermarkt, Bars, FußgĂ€ngerzone). Außerdem ist sie ein idealer Ausgangspunkt fĂŒr AusflĂŒge (Cluny, Dijon, Bibracte
). Die Wohnung ist sehr gemĂŒtlich und perfekt ausgestattet. Die Kommunikation mit der sehr netten Gastgeberin war außergewöhnlich gut, mehrfach hat sie sich erkundigt, ob wir etwas brauchen, hat immer sehr schnell geantwortet, vielen Dank noch einmal!

Three of us spent three nights at Audrey's property and it was perfect. She was wonderfully helpful when we arrived, and the location is perfect...easy walk from the train station and a great patisserie across the street. It's a perfectly quiet location and a 5 minute walk to the heart of Beaune. Highly recommended.

Well appointed bedrooms and living area with en suites for both beds and a separate WC in living room. Ground floor and only two stairs up from the street level entrance. Secure outer and inner doors. Kitchen is complete with all the necessary equipment to cook with goodies from the Saturday morning produce market. Audrey is fastidious with cleanliness and maintenance of the space. And she reliably responds to SMS or email. Note that there is no air conditioning. Recycling arrangements are well defined plus thoroughly prepared visitor instructions are easy to follow. Bravo et merci, Audrey !

Audrey’s apartment is spacious, well-equipped, and extremely clean. She gave us a couple of restaurant recommendations ( Piqu’Bouef and Au Coq Bleu) that were both excellent. Location is quiet, with a short walk to everything. Highly recommended.

L'appartement est trÚs beau et fonctionnel, au calme et à proximité immédiate du centre historique de Beaune qu'on rejoint en 5 minutes. Audrey nous a accueilli et conseillé avec efficacité et chaleur et s'est montrée trÚs disponible et réactive. Excellente adresse pour découvrir Beaune et ses environs au top (mention spéciale à Aloxe-Corton et ses panoramas sublimes sur les vignobles sublimes aussi).
