“The check in was easy. We appreciated the fenced yard as we had children with us so it made us feel a smidge safer. Easy to get to the best parts of town like the highway and the market. We were there for a short time so we did not get to use the kitchen amenities but we appreciated all the things they had that we could use.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at the Pine Tree Villa. The space was clean, comfortable and convenient. The home is a 30 minute walk from central San Ignacio, so the neighborhood is quiet but it's still easy to stop by town.”

“Overall, the property was great. We did have the hot water heater go out, and there is an air conditioning in every room, but the property manager communicated great greatly and provided us a discount of 50 for the inconvenience of not having hot water for three of our four days there.”

“This property was peaceful and serene in the jungle of Belize. The views from each room were picturesque and simply amazing. The home is remote from town and roads are not the best but still a wonderful place to stay. The host Walter is very knowledgeable and helpful and accommodating. With his guidance, we were able to see all of the local sites including the ruins, waterfalls, cave etc. The location of the house is perfect, and we were able to see the spider monkeys, enjoy the pontoon boat...

The pool was much larger than the pictures made it look, and we enjoyed swimming in it every day! The grounds were beautiful also, and we felt like we were in an oasis in the middle of the jungle!A few cautions: the road at the end is a bit bumpy and steep. “Check in couldn't have been easier. Terry, the host, was in contact with us while we were there and went the extra mile and gave us complimentary snacks and drinks. We didn't have any issues during our short stay. The pool was a great and relaxing amentity, especially after coming back from a tour in the hot month of August. Thank you, Terry, for a memorable stay!”

“We stayed here mainly to visit Mayan temples in the region. There are 2 super markets in a 2 min walking distance and because we had a rental car we did not mind not being closer to downtown San Ignacio. It is not that far, but for walking it is. The house had all needed facilities and functioning appliances, but don’t expect modern state of the art US style appliances. Overall good value for money.”

“This property is very beautiful in an even more beautiful setting. Walter (property manager) was extremely responsive to requests and Jim the owner was quick to answer messages. Our entire family enjoyed this property. A few things to note the road getting there is extremely rough, when they tell you that 4 wheel drive is required that is not an overstatement. You will want to make sure you have everything you need before you head to the house because getting into town is not a small feat....

“Absolutely the best spot! Area was safe and easily accessible by car to all places Authentic Flavors restaurants was by far our favorite place to eat and walking distance from this rental! Morning parrots and iguanas and even saw a horned beetle!!! ”

Venus Hotel

10/10 Fantastiskt

"I only have positive things to say about this hotel. It exceeded our expectations. The location is PERFECT. Right next to all the tour operators, the town square, restaurants, the market, the bus to Xunantunich, etc. The bed was really big and comfortable. Slept like a baby. During a month of travelling this was by far the best sleep we had. The room was quiet and dark as well, and AC provided perfect temperature for once. The room was equipped with a fridge and a freezer, which we loved. It was so convenient. "
