“We were staying for an event in Adams and didn't need much... Stepping inside the cottage was a delight!! A great deal of thought and design has gone into making this little old lake cottage, into a lovely, friendly and comfortable place to stay. I hope we will have cause to return. ”

“Beautiful wrap-around porch. Views were wonderful. Had to use the pullout sofa, because the stairs to the loft was basically a stepladder and for us seniors, was a no go. It does need a microwave. We gave it a four star overall, but for a younger couple would be a five.”

“This is a comfortable cottage. It’s not fancy but that’s ok. The location served us well (close to family we were visiting) and was close to Pittsfield, Lenox, and Stockbridge. It’s close to the Balderdash Winery and Shaker Village…good spots to visit. There was a neat trail up the mountain in the back of the home. ”

The deck/patio area had a beautiful view of the water. The fire pit was a nice perk in the evening. Surrounded by water, the place felt so private....

“Very clean and well taken care of, quick walk to the lake (though it was very buggy in the area!), secluded, nice and easy drive to Great Barrington or Southfield, etc. Lindsey and Steven were incredibly responsive and kind and left us a little welcome gift and some helpful tips in the form of notes. “Stayed for 3 nights over Presidents Day weekend, and we loved the spot! Recently refreshed with a new kitchen, floors and fixtures, it’s still felt warm and inviting. The electric fire / heater in the living room was well used, and we cooked our meals with the new appliances and well equipped kitchen.
