The staff were lovely. Friendly and helpful.
Our room should not have been let to a couple or a single person weighing over 90kg. The room made us feel like Harry Potter it was so small. The one stool at the dressing table is too large to pull out and sit on. So, there is nowhere to sit except the bed!! The bathroom is badly planned meaning the toilet is slotted in a space so small anyone over 90kg would struggle to sit on it ( let alone use it for a poo). We came home after three days feeling the onset of IBS.
Unfortunately the bathroom had been used for a poo behind the door by a mouse! This was not noticed by the cleaner for the three days we were there.
The car park has a worn and uneven surface and the right hand step up to the front door is too high.
The corridor to room 203A has a step down that is too precarious for two people to use together and the floor makes you feel like a drunken sailor as you walk down.
We enjoyed our quiet evenings in the bar.
