10 sovplatser (4Q, 2T) Denna 3 200 kvadratmeter avskilda, lyxiga timmerhus är fantastisk och perfekt för din nästa bergsemester. Gästerna på denna enhet har frisk bergsluft och majestätisk utsikt över 1800 kvadratmeter däck och verandor. Det finns en skärmad veranda utanför köksområdet och det finns också ett "matsal" med handgjorda Hickory-möbler och en gasgrill. Detta timmerhus var professionellt inredda så att alla rum är bekvämt och vackert inredda. Det finns fyra sovrum och tre och ett halvt badrum som gör det enkelt att sova upp till tio personer med queen size-sängar och tv-apparater i varje sovrum samt en dubbelsäng i ett av sovrummen på övervåningen. Den nedre sovrummet är inrättat som en svit med vardagsrumsdel och en eldstad. Så du kan ta med din utökade familj eller vänner! Detta sovrum har också en TV, DVD-spelare och video. Sovrummet på huvudnivån har en TV, DVD-spelare och bubbelbadkar i master badrummet. Vardagsrummet är inbjudande och dekorerat underbart med en eldstad med eldstad och armoire med TV, DVD-spelare och stereo. Köket i hög skala är rymligt och fullt utrustat med två separata ugnar och avancerad matlagningsutrustning inklusive en Kitchen Aid stativblandare, Jen Air spis och allt annat som gäster kan behöva för att förbereda en fullständig måltid. På övervåningen i detta tre nivå hus finns två sovrum och ett badrum. Sovrummet med en queen size-säng har en liten TV och DVD-spelare och det andra sovrummet har en tvåbäddsbädd samt en queen size-säng. Huset är också utrustat med satellit-TV, tvättmaskin och torktumlare och mycket mer. Landskapet för denna enhet har också nyligen utvidgats med nya stenmurar och uppdateringar gjorda av eldstaden. Property was beautiful and very nice. There were several lamps and quite a few of them had burned out lightbulbs. Some of the overhead lights as well. There was only one remote that worked out of all of the tv’s. No batteries in the remotes. We followed the instructions for lighting the gas logs and could not get them to turn on. Nothing major but making sure these are addressed for the next person.

Lots of room for 4 couples. Beautiful views at the house and on the drive to it. Easy commute to Boone, Blowing Rock and hiking trails.. A couple minor issues with shower knobs.

This is a beautiful, comfortable home. We enjoyed it so much. The location was perfect for visiting the area. You do need the four wheel drive for the driveway which is steep. We would love to come back when we can enjoy the beautiful porches! It was a little cold for that this trip. But the skiing was great!

Sticks & Stones is a beautiful, roomy and comfortable home with everything you could possibly need to cook, play games or just relax. The spacious living area is well decorated and the dining table accommodates a large group with ease. We prepared our Thanksgiving meal and had everything we needed. The beds are so comfortable which was an added bonus! The folks at Foscoe Rentals are awesome to work with if any issues arise. Some things to note: if you are staying in the winter, the driveway is steep and could easily become problematic in bad weather. The basement area has a bedroom and living area that doesn’t stay very warm due to the thermostat being on the main floor. We opted not to use that space as temps dropped into the 20’s while we were there. There is no satellite TV as the ad states so be aware. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to large families or groups!

We had a great time at Sticks and Stones! Other reviews mentioned the steepness of the driveway, which had us concerned. These reviews were accurate, however we all managed to make it up and down the driveway, even after some snow (vehicles were F250, CRV, RAV4, and Ranger). The roads to the home are full of curves, yes, but to be expected in the mountains. We had the unfortunate luck of the internet being down, and the location has 0 cellular service unless you stand in the driveway. It made for a great time of card games and chats! We lost power for about 5 hours during our stay, and my only qualm was that I did not receive a message back when I made mention of the loss of power. I know it is no fault of the property manager, but at the time we were concerned about the inability to shower, cook, or have heat. The home is well equipped with kitchen items, and the bathrooms were clean and well stocked with towels. The home could use a light dusting and vacuuming, but it was nothing to the extent of being “gross”. If you have young children, please be aware that the access to the unfinished attic space is unlocked and easily accessible. We would recommend this property, especially for a group.

My three sisters and their spouses and I spent a week at Sticks and Stones with a wedding on the Saturday in the middle of that time. The house met our needs well, and we enjoyed our time together. We had four vehicles and were able to park 3 of them up by the house and one in a pullout halfway up. The driveway was indeed very steep and necessitated the use of the lowest gear to get up without slipping on wet leaves (none of the vehicles were 4-wheel drive, and it had been raining). The kitchen was well-stocked. The house was secluded, which we liked, but was only 12-15 minutes drive into Boone or Blowing Rock. Beautiful area. Wi-fi was spotty for some of our phones. Overall we had a wonderful time together.

Really enjoyed the house and the furnishings. Had everything we needed and then some. Stayed with our children ages 14 - 22. Everyone had a great time and loved the house. Will rent again when in the area.

Our group was a total of 8 people and this cabin fit us very well! Overall, we enjoyed our stay but we did have a couple of issues. The sink backed up our first morning there, which kept us from being able to wash dishes for 8 people. The dishwasher also leaked water because the sink was backed up. After calling the property manager, maintenance did come out to fix it but not until late that evening. Another issue was that the propane tank for the grill was completely empty when we went to grill our dinner. Even though we had some issues, we overall really enjoyed the house. The 8 of us do a yearly trip to Boone so we will keep this cabin in mind when we book for 2024.

A wonderful stay surrounded by nature. We had a large Buck roaming the grounds followed by a few white tails- the weather was frosty and cold with beautiful fireplaces! The kitchen was very well stocked. We didn't get to use the firepit outside due to the rain but we had a blast catching up with our friends. We can't wait to come back!

We had 2 families stay at Stick & Stones and we loved the property! Plenty of room for everyone. It was close to the ski mountain and Blowing Rock. The house had everything we needed for cooking. The only 2 minor things in the kitchen was that the fridge water dispenser was broken, and there were no oven mitts. Not a big deal. I will say there were LOTS of stink bugs upstairs. I know others have noted that, as well. It must be difficult to remove them. But other that that, we LOVED the property and would definitely stay there again!

The home is beautiful and well stocked and every detail thought out (baby gates on site that we didn’t even think about with the stairs). Easy to get to and close to local town and attractions. We really enjoyed our time here as a family. Location would work great for multiple generations or families sharing the properties as the lower level has it’s own living room. Management company easy to work with and responsive. The grill was out of propane when we arrived and someone brought us a new one that day. Only thing worth noting is only one burner on stove works very well. Only mentioning so you can ask about it after this post or plan accordingly if it has not been replaced.

Great house. Everything was as advertised. Very clean and well stocked with essentials. Driveway is crazy steep but without snow it was not an issue. I would prefer to check-in remotely without having to pick up and return keys but the rental office was only a few miles away from the house so not a big deal. We would stay at this property again in the future.

This is a great home for family and friends to gather for a trip to the mountains. Easy access to Boone and Banner Elk and lots of great hiking in the area. The only inconvenience was having to pick up and drop off the keys. Those mountain roads don’t make driving easy and a programmable lock would have been much more convenient. Otherwise, it’s a great place with plenty of room for privacy and gathering.
