Never rent directly from this hotel - You will pay a minimum $60 more than if you went through a third party app. Expect to be warm during your stay unless it's the middle of summer, as the hotel pretends their air conditioning units are "out of order." I stayed in two separate rooms on consecutive nights, and both cooling units had the same "out of order sign." It's a lie. Also, the room had a dysfunctional security lock on the door, to which housekeeping claimed that the latch lock was all they have at their hotel after a failed attempt to fix the dead bolt. If you stay at this place, expect the restaurants and tavern to be full of locals. If you wish to eat from the restaurant or visit the bar, you will need either a reservation or arrive at the tavern very early. Your love of history should be high if you're going to stay here. Otherwise, expect frustrations and high prices.
