This cozy 139-square-foot farm stay is perfect for reconnecting with the outdoors, surrounded by abundant bushland. It features easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette with cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank, a hand basin, and a gas-heated shower for hot water.

IMPORTANT NOTE: For guest privacy, the tiny house is located 100 meters from the main house and 300 meters from the main road.

Guest Access:
Guests can access the tiny home and its immediate surroundings. Explore our beautiful gardens and expansive paddocks, where they can relax by the peaceful dam, watching dragonflies and a variety of native birds.

- Free parking is available on the property. Please use the designated areas for easy access and to avoid any inconvenience.

- We kindly ask guests to follow the pool and gym rules and adhere to all safety guidelines to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
- For those looking for a more social experience, feel free to enjoy the private outdoor fire pit or take advantage of the shared spaces, which include a large open fire pit, a resort-style pool, and a home gym.

Just 44 minutes from Brisbane, Birdsong Haven by Tiny Away sits in Logan Village. This region displays bushland charm with a growing community spirit. Surrounded by open spaces and over 1,100 parks, it offers a refreshing mix of heritage and progress.

Leafy pockets and acreage lots sit alongside modern estates, reflecting Logan’s characteristics. Locals enjoy easy access to golf courses, trails, and cultural landmarks like Mayes Cottage in Kingston or Logan Village Museum.

For those a little more adventurous there is a modern skateboarding park in Logan Village, try the Skywalk or even Hot Air Ballooning up Mt Tamborine. At the same time, nearby highways connect to Brisbane, Ipswich, and the Gold Coast, making Logan Village a grounded and well-connected hub.

By Car:

- From Virginia Way, Brisbane is approximately 48 km away, taking about 45 minutes.
- The Gold Coast is around 60 km away, with a travel time of approximately 50 minutes.

By Public Transport:

- Taxis and ride-share services are available. Public transport options are limited.

By Flight:

- Brisbane Airport is the closest major airport, located approximately 55 km away, with a drive time of around 50 minutes.
- The Gold Coast Airport is about 75 km away and takes roughly 1 hour by car.

Other Things to Note:
- Gas BBQ grill is available

- We do not permit parties on the property

- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed

- The tank water is filtered but we can offer bottled water at a cost
- Wi-Fi is available (please note it may be unreliable during bad weather)
- Please dispose of waste properly using designated bins for recycling and rubbish

- Mobile reception has good signals for Telstra and Optus; Weak signals for the rest

- Don’t forget to close the windows and lock doors when leaving the tiny house/ property

- Make sure to turn off the lights, air conditioning, and electronics (e.g., especially chargers)

- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge

- Smoking is not allowed inside the tiny home or any indoor areas. If you wish to smoke, please use designated outdoor areas and dispose of cigarette butts responsibly

Guest Advisory


- In case of any emergency or if you need assistance during your stay, please contact us immediately. We are happy to assist with any concerns you may have.
- Our young grandson lives on the property, so you may occasionally hear family sounds. We aim to keep the atmosphere peaceful and appreciate your understanding of our family setting.
- As we are located on a spacious 6-acre property, please be aware that you may hear occasional vehicle movement coming and going from the main house. We do our best to minimize disruptions.

Important note:



- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban

- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present in the surrounding areas

- Our property is home to wildlife like kangaroos, wallabies, and various birds. Please don’t feed or approach them for their safety and yours

- For stays of 5 nights or more (or for bookings of 5 nights or more), an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
