Eatons Hill acerage med WIFI

Flytta hem, på semester, konferens eller bara besöka familjen, är detta rymliga välutrustade 6 sovrum hem väl lämpat. Nära cykeltur till bussar som ansluter till Brisbane City, tågstation ca 10 minuters bilresa och EH köpcentrum ca 5 minuters bilresa. Vi är i ett lugnt men ändå bekvämt läge.

Med alla bekvämligheter i hemmet är detta 6 sovrum b & b utrustat med ett fullt utrustat kök med mikrovågsugn, diskmaskin och full storlek kylskåp, energieffektiv, självhushåll, 55 "Plasma väggmonterad TV och en utomhus spis. Med 6 olika rumstyper kommer denna 2-nivå B & B också med badkar + dusch och separat toalett för bekvämlighet på varje nivå i hemmet.

Gäståtkomst
Vi har 2 hektar bredvid land utan staket så att du kommer att njuta av naturen: bara häng ut på uteplatsen, ta en promenad i skogen, kolla på kokobarraserna, mata kycklingarna eller blick på stjärnorna - så länge som månen är inte full. ; ) För att kontrollera vår tillgänglighet, klicka på länken "Beställ bok". Och ja, om det inte är tillgängligt, är det redan bokat! Om du vill stanna här på en helg under sommaren måste du göra din bokningsförfrågan ca 6 månader i förväg. Vi gör emellanåt en avbokning, så om du vill ha ett datum som redan är bokat kan du meddela oss om det och vi kommer att meddela dig en avbokning. Om du vill stanna här, men Eatons Retreat är bokad, har vi nu Huntington Villa (helt fristående 2 sovrum). Du kommer ha samma tillgång till kvalitet, en pool och tennisbana och mycket privatliv. För att inte tala om hundratals arter av fåglar, sol, en blomsterträdgård och affärer, inte för långt borta.

Skuggad av Spotted Gum och Iron Bark träd och bredvid en koala fristad, kan du njuta av utomhus från främre däck. På sommaren är det perfekt för ett dopp i poolen och på vintern kan du njuta av att sitta vid utomhusbrandstaden.

Den mysiga och rena hemmet har 2 nivåer. Det finns 4 rum på övervåningen och 2 nere och en toalett och dusch på varje nivå. Bokning med visum och mästerkort accepteras. Vi erbjuder rena lakan och örngott. Massor av filtar finns också tillsammans med massor av andra nödvändigheter.

The Hill Top Retreat

The location is a 10 min drive to the nearest shops. And it feels quite secluded & quiet. it has a lovely peaceful country feel about it & you can enjoy a camp fire at night. The bedrooms are roomy but the mattresses are pretty average. There isn't a lot of room in the living area, but it helps that it also has an outdoor area. The pool is huge & there is a bit of wildlife around the place at anytime of the day. We had 9 people stay there & that was a good number. The owners were excellent to deal with & they responded straight away to refill the gas bottle to the bbq & any other issue we had. If you would like to get out of the city & enjoy a nice relaxing place to stay, I would recommend this place for you.

We reserved the house for a group of staff to use for a conference which was subsequently cancelled due to lockdown. As were not able to get any refund or credit on our booking one staff member chose to stay for a night anyway. The feedback from her stay was average - an unpleasant smell in the downstairs bathroom which carried through the whole bottom level, lights that didn't work, a lack of enough blankets and heaters that didn't work very well. Some of these issues seem to be in some prior reviews as well so this needs attention.

Don't Waste Your Money!!

We were a large family staying here and very disappointed. The pictures shown here are a dishonest representation of the property. You will not be staying at a property that looks like these pictures and you will not have a contact who is interested in helping. The spa is unable to be used, we were told that it only happened the morning we arrived, but it was evident from the state of the sign on it that it has been like that for quite some time. There was water coming out of the power point near it so can't be used for anything else. There is no clothesline as shown in the pictures. (and no clothes dryer so a big problem when you have a lot of people there for a week) It's dumped down the side of the shed with a pile of other rubble - along with a pile of steel reo outside the laundry door. The pool has an out-dated resuscitation sign and the pump does not come on enough to keep it properly clean. There is no lovely green lawn as the pictures show. This is where the pool is so there is only a small grassed area that was overgrown. The grass was long everywhere and very untidy. We asked for this to be mowed so it could be used but the person who is your contact is not the owner and is not interested in resolving any issues you have there. When we arrived the bins were full and the council truck not coming for another 4 days. We were advised they could do nothing about it and we could take it to a local refuse centre (we were to be charged $90 to do this!!!!) When paying to stay somewhere, we expect to have bins we can use. The outdoor patio area has an area which has sunken and they have just placed a large piece of carpet over it. This does not stop people tripping due to the very uneven surface and is very dangerous. I was told they never knew about this - but they have covered it up!! The power trips regularly in the house when the pool pump comes on as the whole of the downstairs living is on one power circuit, including the pool pump. Any electrician would know this is not suitable for a house this size. The light bulb over the stair case was blown, we were told this had also just happened. This made the stairs very dark and it cant be changed without a ladder due to its position but were told they couldn't come and change it. The basketball hoop is hanging off the shed in a broken state, unable to be used. The owner is clearly not prepared to spend money on the property but will be happy to take yours.

If waking up in the bush to the sounds of birds singing and no traffic noise but close enough to pop down to the shops, then this is the perfect spot

Great private spot, awesome pool house needs a little attention, some aircons do not work, power turned off a few times during the stay. All in all a nice spot to have a quiet getaway for the weekend with friends

Our stay

This appears to be a under maintained property for many years. Old broken furniture, poorly maintained back yard, malfunctioning door locks difficult to operate. The photos in the advert appears to be old, does not reflect current status. Not value for money.

Very nice place to stay in Eatons Hill

The property is situated in a lovely bush setting and great for a large family group. The house is very comfortable and the outdoor environment is very nice. The only issue we had was when we were using the pool and spa at approximately 8.00pm we received a complaint from the neighbours about us using the pool and the outdoor area in the evening.

Working Stay

I had a few schools to survey in Brisbane's north and had three others guys with me. The house was perfect for our needs. With the extreme humidity of the week, the pool was very refreshing. Overall it was a relaxing stay.

Great Location!

Location is fantastic- far away enough to feel like your secluded from the world, but really you’re not far away at all! Very close to Eatons Hill Hotel, so if you happen to be going to a concert or festival there then it’s great!

Overall this was a good property but needs some upgrades

Positives - * The house is a great size and can sleep a lot of guests if you are having a large family gathering and need lots of space. * The kitchen and bathrooms where clean and modern * plenty of seating for everyone * Air conditioning throughout the whole house except for one bedroom * 2 bathrooms * rural outlook * plenty of parking * in ground pool Negatives * Walk way to pool entry was washed away and very eroded so was not easy to access especially for older people. * One bedroom had no air conditioning so we could not use it as it was so hot. They should consider changing the study downstairs to a bedroom instead as it has air conditioning, this caused a bit of drama with who was going to sleep where. * They need updated photos on the listing as they were out of date with the pool / yard area and should show photos of all the bedrooms. * Listing description was a bit different to what we were told with regards to bedrooms - there is only one bedroom downstairs and a study and then upstairs has another 5 bedrooms. * Some strange terms and conditions for e.g saying that sun cream must be removed before swimming as the sun cream may clog the pool filter and if it's damaged then we would be liable for cost of replacement - this is a health and safety concern as sun cream is so important for skin health, Thankfully we only swam in the late evening so didn't need sun cream on. * No BBQ - it was a tiny electric grill which was impossible to cook breakfast on for a large group so was not ideal. * House and area around needs updating and repairs as ground is uneven in a lot of places * We found it hard to unlock the doors with the keys provided.

Serene but not like the pictures

The new pool area and spa is fantastic, however, there is a lot of rubble and rubbish in piles around the property and the pictures do not accurately reflect the current state of the property - the tiled floor was also dirty. There were no tea towels and one blanket each meant some of us were cold at night. The two door handles on every door was annoying as doors cannot be opened by one hand and we ran out of gas so had cold showers for a day. The owners were excellent with communication and fixed our issues promptly. However, they locked off a room when we arrived, assuming we could all share beds and continually questioning how many people we had staying (don't advertise as a 6 bedroom property if there is not access to all bedrooms). They rectified this immediately. While we liked the property, it was expensive for what you got and the grounds were a mess.

Great house

Our experience was amazing. We were away on a footy weekend for representative TRL. Didn't have any issues. But on one of the nights we had night games and came home and debreifed having a chat and a laugh. If you are going to have loud convos with lots of laughter etc keep it inside not outside. As you make get a noise complaint. It was at 11pm which we didn't realise the time though. We were fine with it. And Jay was amazing about it and our stay was overall amazing.

Good Stay

It was a little disappointing we had paid extra money to have dogs at the property to compete at dog show pictures does not match what property looks like now. Lawn was not mowed and there was a pile of tin mesh and pole in sight. We went and sat in entertainment area we pulled out chairs to sit on and there was empty chip packets. Kitchen was fantastic everything you could need. No extra blankets in house as it was freezing cold. Beds were nice and comfy all rooms had airconditioning. We would stay again but needs a little attention to a few things.

Awesome campfire, many beds, pool was beautiful

Campfire was absolutely lovely, and there were so many bedrooms (and beds), so suited our group well. Pool was beautiful but we were a bit disappointed that spa was out of order... otherwise a lovely stay! Also - expect an impromptu visit from the owner around 8/9pm..

Getaway retreat

First impression on arrival was not good as there were rubbish everywhere around the driveway, the property need an update photo as the view on the photo is misleading, overgrown lawn and outside need a good clean up. Inside the house is big and suitable for big groups, need extra blankets as it was freezing at night and the heater in my room wasn't working. Price I paid for 1 night was too high for what we got out of this place compare to other places we used before.

Beautiful private property

This beautiful property offered privacy and seclusion, yet was a short drive from a large grocery store, chemist, and many restaurant options. We enjoyed the sparkling pool and the space to stretch.
