Quarterdeck - Point Lookout, QLD

Detta fristående radhus ligger på Cylinder Headland mellan Cylinder och Deadman's Beaches. Det är en kort promenad till alla stränder, kollektivtrafik, Straddie Hotel och lokala butiker. Ingångsnivå har låst garage, tvättstuga och badrum, mittnivå är en öppen planlösning, kök och matplats som vetter mot stora däck och den översta nivån har tre sovrum och ett badrum och sovrummet har ett däck.

Funktioner: 3 sovrum (1 drottning, 2 singlar, 1 våningssäng), gasgrill. Två badrum (ett med badkar) öppet kök, diskmaskin, mikrovågsugn, tvättmaskin och torktumlare.


Fullt linnepaket ingår för bokningar som görs efter 1/3/18 men sängar som inte är gjorda och linne kan behöva returneras med nycklar vid kassan.

Beautiful spot with a quick and comfortable house.

It was a great location to stay and a comfortable arrangement with everything you could need. AC or bug screens would make it a bit more livable for the hotter months.

Good Location

House was good. No curtains upstairs, which meant it was cold on a cold day. Heater did not work, so we had to wrap in blankets. All else was good. Beds were comfortable and a good kitchen.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was really amazing, very close to Deadman's beach and the property was quite spacious with good sized bedrooms. I appreciated that the bedrooms had fans and that the kitchen was well equiped. The property was superficially clean, but could really do with a good deep thorough clean and the throw cushions and grey couch in the living space were not used as some were mouldy and seemed a bit grotty. That being said, we would stay again.

A lovely beach getaway

We enjoyed beautiful weather during our week 6-13 May at Quarterdeck townhouse. Value for money with plenty of room for the whole family and so handy to Cylinder Beach and Deadman’s Beach. The whole townhouse was well appointed and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you need for a holiday. There was a leak of water in the ground floor bathroom. Ray Ehite at North Stradbroke responded straightaway and the leak was fixed promptly. It was the best holiday house we have ever rented at Straddie.

Kitchen appliances, utensils and furniture are all good quality. Beds are comfortable with doonas and blankets supplied. Close to everything and only a short drive to main beach .

Reviewer Comments: Very close to Cylinder and Deadman beaches for the usual activities of relaxing, swimming, surfing, sunbaking, walking, rock fishing and exploring, sandhill climbing and enjoying the sounds and sights of the Island’s marine and coastal flora and fauna outside the front door. Well maintained easy to clean, comfortable holiday living with plenty of room, amenities and equipment necessary for an extended or short stay. Fantastic viewing decks for relaxing and enjoying the ocean vistas from the living room downstairs and the master and adjoining bedroom upstairs.

Quarterdeck

I have stayed in this property several times. It has been updated a little. I reported to the manager that the double bed moves across the room and could be quite dangerous. There are cockroaches. A lot of light bulbs have not been replaced. Second bedroom lamps not working. Curtains not adequate to cover window in second bedroom. I hope these things will be attended to as the property is quite expensive and should be better maintained.

It has lovely views from the top deck over Deadmans beach. The house is generally well equipped (could use a few more wine glasses)Standard of cleaning and linen maintenance however is not adequate. Some mattresses without protectors, no pillow protectors and stained/ dirty quilt covers. Curtains missing and blinds broken. Lots of dust around and below beds. Couch stained. These things detract from a fabulous property.

The location of this property was perfect for us, walk from home for a surf, beach walk or dinner at the pub, ticked the boxes.Yep, three levels of stairs add to your daily workout which was fine.As per previous reviews, one of the lounges needs to go.The kitchen had everything we needed and more. We would be happy to recommend this property to others.
