The higgihaus @hampton is a large and stylish five-storey Victorian semi-detached house, located in the desirable Redland conservation area of Bristol.
This spacious property is arranged over four main floors plus a basement, offering plenty of room for groups, families, or colleagues. In its current configuration, the house features:
Five spacious double bedrooms (sleeping up to 10 guests)
Three bathrooms (two with full baths, all with rainfall showers)
Large sitting room with real fire
Study (with a sofa bed, can double as a temporary bedroom)
Family room (with a sofa bed, can also serve as a temporary bedroom)
Big kitchen/diner equipped for group catering
Gardens front and rear with outdoor seating and large BBQ
Parking for up to 5 cars at the rear, with additional on-street and nearby secure parking
In total, the house can accommodate up to 14 guests:
5 double bedrooms (up to 10 guests)
2 sofa beds in reception areas (4 guests)

Work colleagues looking for comfortable weekday accommodation (up to 5 separate bedrooms, Monday–Friday stays)
Families or mixed groups of 2 adults and 3 older children (with space to spread out)

The kitchen/diner on the lower ground floor is well-equipped for catering, with an industrial-style range cooker and grill, a gas-fired Aga, microwave/combination oven, large fridge/freezer, and high-capacity dishwasher. There’s dining space for 14 guests, perfect for shared meals.
The house is pet-friendly and welcomes dogs, making it a good choice for families or groups traveling with four-legged friends. Please note, however:
No special provision has been made for young children.
Due to its layout over multiple floors, the property is not ideal for infants or small children.
Please request to book if you are planning on bringing children.
In the bedrooms you’ll find comfortable mattresses, crisp cotton linens, soft duvets and pillows, plus internet-connected smart TVs and USB charging points. Bathrooms are stocked with eco-friendly toiletries.
For entertainment, the large sitting room is perfect for board games (provided), music, movies (Virgin cable TV and Netflix), or relaxing by the fire.
Location
The house is just a short stroll from Cotham Hill and Whiteladies Road with their shops, restaurants, cafés, leisure facilities, and transport links. Clifton Down train station is close by, and Clifton Village, the Downs, Stokes Croft, Gloucester Road, and the Harbourside are all within easy reach.

The front door to the building has a keyless entry system and you will be given the entry code 24 hours prior to check-in. Video cameras are provided front and rear for your comfort and safety.
The higgihaus@hampton (#46) is a self-contained house for your exclusive use during your stay in our awesome city. There is no need for you to interact with us but should you need anything we`d be delighted to help. #teamhiggi are a friendly bunch who love Bristol and it is worth noting that Luke (who was born in Bristol) knows it like the back of his hand (well the best bits anyway) and he and Delyth eat out a lot. Luke is thus a veritable goldmine of places to see, things to do, restaurants to eat at, bars worth a visit and how to get about. We`ll provide contact numbers ahead of check-in
higgihaus@hampton (#46) is a mere stone`s throw from Cotham Hill and the Whiteladies Road, both chock full of shops, restaurants, coffee shops, leisure facilities (including a cinema and gym) and all the transport options you’ll likely need when staying in our awesome city (including the train at Clifton Down). The Downs (400 acres of amazing parkland) is a hop, skip and a jump away in one direction and the city centre is a short walk in the other. Clifton Village, the Gloucester Road, Stokes Croft and the Harbourside are all easily reached on foot. The BBC, Bristol Royal Infirmary and Bristol University are all nearby.
Parking
The higgihaus@hampton has off-road parking at the rear of the property and with a little bit of juggling, could accommodate up to five cars (depending on size!). Should you have more cars than can park at the rear, then on-street parking is free on the weekends. Between the hours of 9.00 am and 5.00 pm Monday to Friday, you`ll need a parking permit (which we can provide at a cost of £10 per day).
Clifton Down Shopping Centre also provides secure and overnight parking and is less than a five-minute walk away
