We loved staying at Con Ampere! The hosts were delightful and full of great information that they willingly shared! The room was sooo charming and comfortable. The rooftop terrace was gorgeous, as was the breakfast. We highly recommend this lovely B&B!

Dick and Tineke made us feel like family from the moment we arrived!!! we are so very grateful for their help and tips for visiting the city. The room and bed was very comfortable, and breakfast was very nice. The location is great, very close to everything and even a free shuttle around the town ( to and from the railroad station!) We will certainly come back and stay here.

Perfect pre-Christmas getaway
We had such a nice time at Con Ampère. The host Dick and hostess Tineke could not do enough to make the stay as comfortable as possible. The little personal touches go a long way, we would recommend this place to friends and family in a heartbeat. Bruges is a beautiful city, a perfect size for us, and we acted on many of the recommendations we received from Tineke when we arrived and at breakfast. Hopefully more tourists can return to the B&B soon, I couldn’t think of a more perfect base from which to explore. A home from home.

Cleanliness and its location. The owners were nice and respectful and also helpful. My bedroom was large and the bed is comfortable. Wifi is working well but the tv kept on turning off. I can Highly recommend this place.

The owners were very pleasant, friendly, informative and helpful. Staying here gave you a sense of real Bruges. What i missed was there was no sitting room with couches to just have a place to go other than your room. They do have an outside terrace which probably is nice in better weather but not for February..

Loved the warm hospitality. Dick and Taneka went out of their way to make me feel welcome, giving me tips about restaurants and sites to visit. Breakfast was really good, and I loved the breakfast room. There’s a coffee machine and you can have a coffee any time. This B&B is conveniently located just a short walk to all the sites in the historical centre of Brugge, and also close to bus stops, restaurants and cafes. My room was large and thoughtfully decorated, with good heating (in the winter). The shower was great, with plenty of hot water. I will remember Con Ampere B&B fondly.

What a fabulous and cool place to stay. The suite we stayed in was like a small flat, with a separate lounge and kitchen. The bedroom had a huge and amazingly comfortable bed and a spacious en-suite shower room. Breakfast was brought to our suite every morning and was delicious! The owners ( Tina and Dick) were super friendly, and we really enjoyed Tina’s recommendations for places to eat and drink. Bruges is a wonderful city, but Con Ampere absolutely made our stay extra special.

It's old town with really old building, as u know old is gold, Tineke and her husband is super nice you fell like its your own home, they are very helpful and kind, it's 1 min from canal and 5 min to reach the centre alot of restaurants, supermarkets, as well tourist attractions

We really enjoyed our stay at Con Ampere. We stayed in the green suite and it surpassed our expectations. The breakfast was great and set us up for a morning full of walking. Dick and Tineke were helpful and obliging. Very close to the city centre too. We would stay again.

A Fun Place to Stay
Our lovely hostess gave wonderful advice on where to eat, etc. The rooms were very nice. Wish they would fix the squeaking bathroom door and floor. Generally a very good experience!

Staying here was a delight, the suite and overall property was welcoming and the decoration fantastic. The hosts were very attentive and when we first arrived we were given great advice on restaurants, things to do and places to visit which was very helpful. Definately somewhere I would stay again and recomend

The owner is nice and helpful but the room floor and shower is not clean. Also the sheet and comfort does not smell clean. To reach this location with suitcases you need take taxi or bus.

From arrival to leaving we were treated more like friends than customers, we arrived early after asking if we could drop off our bags to find that they had the room ready and let us check in early so we didnt have to rush back out, the room was spotless and even though our room was at street level on a bus route you couldnt hear a thing, within a 10 - 15 minute walk you could be at any museum or tourist attraction with belfery and market square less than 5 minutes away. Breakfast was a lovely array of breads, meats, cheeses and spreads with a boiled egg and juice on the side enjoyed in a lovely private courtyard style terrace, check out was easy and we will definitely be staying here again next time we visit Bruges.

The location was a very short walk to the centrum and restaurants. We enjoyed the second floor deck where breakfast was served and guests could relax in the evening. Tineke made us feel very welcome and was helpful in giving directions to good restaurants and points of interest.

Tineke was so friendly and helpful when we arrived. She kindly talked to us about the local area and made us feel very welcome. There was a small bottle of wine and water as a welcome in our room. There was a super breakfast each morning. The property is near everything you want to visit in Bruges. We were very happy with our stay.

House is a bit old, but with good location where’s walkable to the tourist points and restaurants.The house host took care for me and guide which places are deserved to go and where the best view to take the photos. Very convenient and at the quiet street. Great breakfast.

Can I move in?
I cannot say enough good things about hosts Dick and Tineke and their labor of love. The room was like a work of art (I stayed in the Red Room) and the breakfast for one was enough for three! Dick is very knowledgeable about the area and gives each guest a great orientation complete with honest opinions about what is and isn't worth the time and the money. I felt like family. I want to come back as soon as possible.

I have been travelling around Europe and North America for a while by myself now, and this place made me feel like I was at home. The hosts, Dick and Tineke, are the most lovely people ever. They will treat you like family or friend and give you great tips and recommendations around the city. The room is very clean and pretty. Although there is no housekeeping, it wasn't a problem at all as you can simply ask for any amenities you need. The breakfast that Tineke prepares is also really nice and tasty. She will give you a plenty of food and she changes it up slightly every morning which makes it even better. Overall, I loved my stay here and I will definitely stay here again with my family next time. Thank you Dick and Tineke for the lovely experience!

Beautiful and quirky B&B so close to all the main sights in Bruges. The owners are absolutely lovely and make you feel like you’re at home, the room is very clean and the bed is SO comfy. Breakfast in the morning includes fruits, yoghurts, pastries, meats and cheeses. A great way to start your day. Overall one of the best B&Bs i’ve ever stayed in. No negatives from us, would recommend to everyone.

I really can’t be positive enough about my stay at Con Ampere. Travelling alone can be a mixed experience at times, but from the moment I arrived here I was made to feel so welcome and I really didn’t want to leave at the end of the week. Dick and Tineke are excellent hosts, taking time to recommend the highlights of Bruges, as well as some hidden gems - all of which were spot on! Nothing was too much trouble and everything from location, to the room itself and breakfast was absolutely perfect. It felt more like I was sharing a home than a B&B guest. Thank you, Dick & Tineke. I can’t wait to come back.

Perfect location walking distance from train station with minimal luggage and/or convenient buses every ten minutes to just around the corner from this lovely bnb. The hosts are very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Our bronze room was spacious and cozy with large windows facing a quiet European street. The kitchen area and patio were quite inviting. The breakfast was very good. The bathroom was spacious with a shower and plenty of hot water. Our room was cozy and the bed was a king size. Very clean. The location was superb for walking the city. We would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed the stay very much. So close to the heart of Bruges. Host is very helpful and gives excellent orientation upon arrival. Parking is available. Breakfast is varied and colorful in addition to being quite tasty!
