"Nice hotel close to many interesting places. We chose the hotel partly because of the pool (my daughter spent a couple of nights with me). But the pool was in the shade all day, and the pool area was really boring. No eating or drinking allowed either. Also, very surprised by an ignorant bartender in the hotel bar who apparently didn’t like westerners. "

"The hotel is very nice. Comfortable, clean, very good service. The pool area could have more chairs and sunshade though. Also it's quite silly and annoying that they demanded me to wear a swim cap even though I'm bald."

"We stayed here for a week and had a good time. The location is great, close to a metro station, many sightseeing spots, as well as restaurants and cafes. The staff were very polite and friendly. The room is a bit old but clean and rather spacious. We had a bit difficult time stably having a good temperature and humidity in the room, but I guess it’s a lot due to the temperature fluctuation."

"Says 4 star hotel but maybe that was 10 years ago. Room very small , run down, stains on carpets , nit so clean. More an average 3 star. Even more run down in corridors. Lobby nice, breakfeast very average. We skipped it last day. At check in we had to wait a while as room wasn't ready. We ordered a taxi tour from hotel to see Jiufen and Shifen waterfall, but driver never took us to Shifen which was disappointing. Overall an OK hotel but nothing like the pictures you see when you make the booking."
