“The property was as advertised. The view out the back to see a channel of the Mississippi river was nice. The layout of the house was unique with where the various bedrooms and sofa beds were located. The living room and dining room were large and able to accommodate group gatherings. The location was secluded enough to offer quiet in the evening and night but close enough to get to the wide variety of restaurants in the area. ”

“The Victorian is in the process of being restored. The location is convenient to the downtown area, but parking on a narrow street was a concern and the steep steps up to the front door would be hard for some visitors (it is noted in the description). The hot tub was not clean and was only 3/4 filled with water so we never used it. The pool table has many rips and the cue sticks were missing their tops so we never used the table. The owners were quick to respond which was helpful.”
