The condition of the 2br canal view room is horrible. It should not be listed as 5 stars, it's 2 stars at best.
Our concierge met us there and let us in and told us to contact them if needed but never responded when we raised our concerns.
The apartment had broken furniture, water damage walls/peeling paint, two bathroom exhaust fans didn't work, we couldn't open the shower door properly making it difficult to get in and out.
Many cupboard doors in all rooms were falling off and broken. The bed linen was dirty, stained and the pillows were old and needed replacing. The bed mattresses were old sagging and not comfortable.
The kitchen was very run down. The cutlery drawer only opens halfway and does not come with enough utensils to cook a meal, you have to hold the toaster handle down to use it, the ironing board is broken and the clothes dryer doesn't really work.
We also requested a second key but never got it.
The listing states air-con, but there is only one unit in the master bedroom which didn't work half the time and a few fans. You also can't open the windows at night due to the terrible fish smell. Housekeeping was poor. They didn't even replace towels and bed linen during our two week stay! Instead they put our towels in our washing machine, and i had to ask multiple times to get some toilet paper.
This is not a hotel, it's an apartment building that they are leasing out this run down apartment. There are many bad reviews going back years. Don't book it!
