Wedding week!
Great location, understand Reno still going on. BUT the couch was filthy!! No one would sit on it and was cleaned day before leaving thus wet so couldn’t sit on it last day😢Peter is great to communicate with. My poor Mom’s bedding had dirt /sand between layers of bedding and sink was slow draining. As a condo owner who rents out I know the owners would be upset to see what we walked into. Put up a great front so all could enjoy!

It saddens us that this guest's stay was unpleasant. We were in close and frequent contact and responded promptly. With the guest’s permission we had the couch cleaned and the sink fixed. Everything possible was done for their comfort.

Accommodations lovely, Setting lovely except for construction everywhere. Were told that elevator would likely be fixed but could be sure. Massive amount of recovery work all over both islands. No elevator was a major issue. Would not have booked if we knew it would not be fixed

Gorgeous beach!
Loved our stay in captiva. Very close walk to the beach. Even shorter to the pool. Very quiet area and beaches aren't crowded at all. Place was very clean and owner was quick with responses to the minor inquiries we had. Would stay again

The Perfect Captiva Girls Weekend
We LOVED our stay here! It’s tucked away but close to everything you need on the island. Clean, comfortable and modern. The hosts were very communicative and ensured we had all information needed prior to and during the duration of our stay. Highly recommend and would stay here again when we come back!

Definitely recommend and Would stay again!
Met all of our needs! Traveling with 3 kids under 5, we brought a bin full of toys, a wagon for lugging stuff to the beach, and pack n play for our littlest to sleep in. Otherwise, everything else was covered.The storage unit with cooler and chairs was a bonus. The whole family loved it!

Wonderful stay !
Our stay was perfect and we would definitely return ! Perfect amount of room for our family of 6 and probably would have had enough room for 8 and still have been very comfortable. The beds were all very comfortable. The pool access was easy and nice as well as convenient beach access. We loved having a washer and dryer there to keep up with our laundry.

Great location to enjoy Captiva
We had five adults stay comfortably in this large condo. The location was close and convenient to everything we wanted to do or access including bikes, the beach, the farmers' market, restaurants and more. The kitchen is well stocked with most everything we needed to cook, so there was not much cupboard space left for food. We used the inside table for storage and a work area and ate in the screened porch. The location and the space worked well for us. The owners were very responsive to our emails to get us the information we needed.

Great location on Captiva!
We enjoyed our stay on Captiva. It was the perfect size for our 2 families with the 3 rooms. We did have a couple issues with a broken bed frame in one bedroom and also clogged drain, but the drain was taken care of quickly! Otherwise than that, the beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were nice. Liked having a code to enter the condo instead of a key! Hopefully will be able to return again some day. The island is beautiful and it is located in a great spot close to restaurants and the beach.

Christmas Vacation
We had a wonderful visit to Captiva Island. Our stay at Bay Front was wonderful. The location was perfect. We enjoyed eating meals on the screened in porch and short walks to the beach. The pool was also a short walk and we were thankful to have access to it. The South Seas Resort was beautiful and we loved being able to walk or ride bikes to certain locations.

Captiva get away.
Nice place, we had a great time but it just went too fast. Very clean unit and comfortable. Outside balcony was nice to lounge during morning. Pool was clean and close. Once we found the paths, everything was within easy walking. We are 2 couples in late 50's -early 60's. We stopped at the Publix and purchased groceries prior to Sanibel. The kitchen had everything we needed sans food and condiments. I would stay again. Thank you Mary Pat and Peter. You were great hosts.

Great location and condo!!
We booked this property last minute and we couldn't have been happier. The condo was very clean and met all of our needs. I had read previous review about how comfortable the beds were - that is an understatement! We slept very well and everyone was happy. The pool is very close (at the end of the building) and the beach is a short walk. After touring the rest of the resort, we believe that this location can't be beat! We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back! Thank you!

Lovely stay in Captiva
Or week started off with a phone call warning us the fridge had quit working but a new one was on the way. We appreciated the communication. We were able to postpone our grocery delivery. A new fridge was delivered the next day and worked perfectly! The location of the Bayside villas was perfect to walk to Chadwick Square and Doc Fords. The pool is located at the end of the building. The marina was fun to watch from the balcony. Always something to see! The beach was a 5 minute walk. Having chairs and sand toys in the condo locker was so nice! The beds were so comfortable and updated bathrooms were beautiful! We enjoyed our stay at South Seas!

Perfect Florida Home Away From Home
My family (hubby, two college-age sons, and I) stayed here five nights will visiting the area for vacation. The property was clean, well-equipped, and exceedingly comfortable. The beds were awesome and we slept like rocks. The location is great. Short walk to a great beach and a quiet marina right outside the building where we saw a momma manatee and her calf one night and a solitary manatee another night. Our only minor disappointment was that the water temperature in the master shower was spotty (one day plenty of hot water, the next only lukewarm), but this was not a problem for us as there were two other showers that worked flawlessly. The owner’s locker filled with beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler was so helpful. This is a great property for a family with older children or several adult couples looking for a getaway. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks so much for sharing your place with us!

Everything was as advertised
No issues. I have a bra house on Captiva and I put some friends up here who came down to tarpon fish. My guests said everything was great. My only disappointment is South Seas wanted to charge for me to pick up my guests who stayed there at their dock. So the guys had to drive to my place everyday.

Great Location. Nice Condo
Property is exactly as pictured and described. Great location, and the property manager was very responsive to us. My only complaint was the cleaning crew did not do a very good job of cleaning the floors before we arrived. Our family always takes our shoes off when entering a home. Our feet were a bit dirty after walking around the condo. Other than that, the cleanliness we very good.

Captivating condo
My family and I had an amazing stay at this wonderful condo. It is super bright, clean and furnished perfectly. It feels like a true beach condo. The views from porch and master bedroom were incredible. Super cozy porch that overlooks Bay Area. Close to the restaurants, shops, and very short stroll to the beach. The owner was very prompt and courteous. Can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic Experience
We went to the island for a family vacation and truly enjoyed the stay at Mary's place. The owner was very prompt, courteous, considerate, and helpful. The house has everything you need and has a beautiful view of the marina at the balcony. Beautiful View, Great Stay
Property was great overall. Very clean, well maintained. Views from the porch and master bedroom were incredible - we spent one evening on the back porch watching an intense Florida thunderstorm roll in and all the action involved at the marina. Short stroll to the beach, tennis courts, and pool - and Doc Ford's and Starbucks are also walking distance. Only complaints were that the local pool wasn't properly maintained and was not swimmable, but that isn't the fault of the owner, and the showers were pretty small (and a bit outdated). Also, be aware that if you go in the summer, the type of sand on Captiva beaches gets extremely hot - more so than others. Foot coverings are a must - even with my flip flops on the sand getting under my toes in the afternoon was hot enough to burn. We saw manatees. Live starfish, sand dollars, dolphins, sand dollars, and tons of beautiful shells. We even saw osprey, rabbits, and iguanas as well - tons of amazing local sea and land wildlife. A trip we won't forget - I always enjoy the Sanibel/Captiva area.

So glad you had a lovely time. The pool situation was a rare event -- it was closed for a few days to be drained and cleaned and guests were welcome to use the pool at nearby Tennis and Beach Villas. The master bathroom was completely remolded and updated in Fall 2020 -- check out the latest pictures!

Mini Captiva Getaway!
As Southwest FL residents, we already enjoy paradise. However, the 6 of us needed a mini-getaway to enjoy the charm of Captiva and with our 2 jet ski’s, we found the perfect condo offered by Peter and Mary Pat right next to a boat ramp and boat slips for the jet ski’s with direct access to the gulf. We had a great time in a nicely appointed home that is conveniently located close to all Captiva has to offer. We highly recommend this property to other vacationers.

The location of this condo is great! We brought our boat down and kept it in the marina and used golf carts to get around. It was very close to so many great restaurants and activities. Management was very responsive and the condo layout was very functional including a well-equipped kitchen. The common areas are small so a little tight for our group of seven, though most time is spent outdoors so not really an issue. We really enjoyed the screened in patio with the beautiful views! Would definitely rent again however would go through a channel that allows for resort amenities.

We made the mistake of not reading the fine print. The property does not offer access to the South Seas main pool and slides. This was the biggest thing my daughter was looking forward to on her birthday trip. We contacted property managers but unfortunately we were not able to get a refund and ended up staying.

Relax in paradise
This is a beautiful condo overlooking the bay. The bedrooms were spacious with very comfortable beds. Short walk to a gorgeous sandy beach. Also very close to great restaurants that are within walking distance. Quiet building ina great location. Would definitely stay here again!
