“Really lovely apartment in a beautiful place. Views from the complex were breathtaking and the location was perfect to get to Florence, pisa and Siena. Room itself was somewhat basic but very charming and rustic. Kitchen nicely equipped with everything you might need. Special thanks goes to the hosts who were fantastic, gave us a really useful guide to the local area which we made use of multiple times and couldn't do enough to help us. “Outside of city center however it was a nice reprieve from the noise and chaos. there are some wonderful neighborhood gems for restaurants and the bus runs regularly and reliably. Only negative was when we reached out to the host upon arriving at the building, the host took 10 minutes to reply and to remotely open the door which after a long day of travel and standing in 90*+ heat with multiple children outside, it was very frustrating. “The location is the best aspect of this apartment. You are within walking distance of Palazzo Vecchio and the neighborhood’s historical points of interest and shops alone will take a day to explore. The apartment was very dusty - ledges, floor, walls, patio, everywhere. My allergies were very irritated. The ironing board cover was wet due to the dirty, wet mop head that lay against it.
