“Since I love livemusic this seemed like a hotel right up my ally and it was. Yes you can hear the sound from what ever concert is taking place in the venue downstairs but that did not really bother me. I loved the interior design and vibe of the place. It is in a good location with lots of sights within walking distance. I had a great time in Seattle and would definitely stay at The Crocodile again.”

“We wanted a hotel closer to the airport for our last night in Seattle, as we had a very early flight home. Cedarbook was a great option! The layout of the property was a little confusing as we were sent off to the furthest building from the front desk, but the room itself was very nice and comfortable. Loved the free snacks (ice cream, candy) and beverages in the common area, and we had a terrific last supper at the Copperleaf restaurant. ”

“The State is a boutique hotel with a funky vibe (in a good way). The room was a bit small and it lacked some amenities but the bed was very comfortable and for a downtown hotel it was quiet. A couple of minor gripes: 1) the in room coffee is pretty lame 2) the bathroom could use a couple of towel racks 3) charging $8 for a water bottle is ridiculous A couple of positives: 1) the hotel staff was great! “Archer is a modern hotel in central Redmond with a "lodge feeling" ambiance, the rooms are tastefully decorated with lots of thoughtful details. Eg we stayed in a room for families and there were children's books beside the bed and a rubber ducky in the bath. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The beds were comfortable with high quality linens and pillows. I would warmly recommend staying there for your next trip to Seattle/Redmond either as a family or traveling for work.”

With four people staying in the room, and wanting to charge phones and watches, this was an issue. We had to unplug the TV and the lamp by the beds to have any access to power outlets. Lots of drug zombies in the neighbourhood. Not the hotel's fault, obviously, but for some travellers this could be a relevant issue. ”
