Bridleway to Nineteen Acre Wood Quite narrow and heavily pitted with hoof prints.
Bridleway near Grove Farm The bridleway heads south from here and terminates at the minor road to Queen Street.

We stayed in one of the lakeside rooms which had a beautiful view. Room was slightly cold because of this but reception did provide us with an extra heater. It was my husbands birthday so they provided a gift and prosecco which was lovely. Food was great, lovely staff and clean hotel. Book ahead ...

Check-in was early, which I appreciated. However, the room fell well below expectations: it had no window, a damp smell, no hot water, and felt very run-down. It also didn’t feel clean, and there were no hooks in the bathroom for towels. Overall, I would not recommend the Stables.
