The apartment was clean and sufficient for our 2 night stay. We appreciated having coffee provided to us. Also, when having questions our host was very helpful.

Cozy Apartment Close to Loyola

Clean property with a comfortable bed and everything needed as a base camp to visit my daughter at Loyola. The off road parking is a plus for sure.

Great location for Loyola parents!

This place was nice.. clean and easy to get to….the off street parking was great bonus! The only issue we had was the bed- needs a new mattress 😉 The owner was responsive and easy to work with!

Rogers Park Cozy Digs

This property is quite quaint with a very comfortable bed. The layout is unique and amenities sufficient. Could have used bathroom hand towels and a bar of soap for the shower.

Great temporary housing

This was such a smooth and easy vacation. Gregory is probably the most transparent, thoughtful, and kind host you can have. The unit was clean and there was access to a private parking lot. If you want a smooth and stress free vacation home - this unit is the way to go!

Great place to stay especially with parking

Greg is a great host. My wife and I enjoyed the stay. First time in Chicago and let me tell you… the drive way for parking is a must have which this place provides. Neighborhood is great, hot showers, climate control environment which you control. Easy process of checking in and out. Yes we would definitely come back to this location.

Great Location -- Excellent Hosts

Great location if you are visiting and need a north Chicago location without being right at Northwestern University or closer to downtown. The hosts are very responsive. The apartment has some toiletries and coffee, but you may want to bring your own if you are going to be staying in a bit.

Great stay, just the bed needs some work

We had a great stay and really appreciated our time at this VRBO. Having an off-street parking spot was extra helpful as well. The only feedback I'd give to the host was that the edges of the bed did not hold up. Partially because the mattress is soft, and partially because it appears that the bed frame might be broken on one side.

Extended stay

My husband’s stay was for 2 weeks and it brought on more stress and inconvenience than it was worth. The advertised property does not match what you actually stay in.

Quiet & Small

This apartment offers a surprisingly quiet stay despite its location on a busy road. While the off-street parking is a plus (we needed it for a cargo trailer) , exiting is tricky and stressful. Be aware that the steps to the side apartment are quite steep. Inside, the beds and linens were clean, though we did notice the floor was dirty (wear slippers) and a broken trash can. The shower had very low water pressure, but the hot water was excellent. It provided the basics we needed for our work trip, but we found it a bit pricey for the value.

Perfect for visiting Loyola parents

This was the best property I could find closest to Loyola University at a reasonable price. I actually think the photos undersell the apartment--there's more space than it seems, it's just a strange layout: long and skinny more than wide and square. It was clean and easy to access (as long as don't mind hopping out of your car to open and close the gate to the parking in the rear). I liked having plenty of surface area in the bathroom to spread out stuff. Water pressure wasn't great but good enough and we slept well.

I originally booked this rental for a 13-day stay in Chicago but ended up staying only 4 days. The only reason I did not leave immediately was because it was extremely difficult to find alternative accommodation at short notice in the area where I wanted to stay. The issue was not a single defect but the overall condition of the property. From the moment I arrived, it became clear that this rental did not provide the level of quality, comfort, or maintenance that could reasonably be expected given the price paid. The rented space is located within a house divided into several rental units. It is cramped, poorly designed, poorly lit, and uncomfortable. The layout also contributes to a feeling of confinement and lack of space. The overall condition of the property showed clear signs of age, lack of maintenance, and lack of renovation, with a persistent musty odor, insufficient overall equipment, and a space that was not functional for everyday use.I spent a large part of those 4 days documenting the issues, communicating with the host and Vrbo, and searching for alternative accommodation instead of enjoying my vacation. The host repeatedly presented alternative solutions, but the main issue was never truly addressed: the overall condition of the property. Most discussions focused on solutions that minimized the financial impact on the host, while this situation cost me time, money, and a significant part of my vacation. Both the property and the host should be avoided !

near to Evanston

The location was not too far from Northwestern. It's only a few miles, but takes around 15 minutes to campus. We chose this place because of the great price and the kitchen. I would strongly recommend to the owners that they could appoint the kitchen much better.

Exceptional

This was a perfect property for my husband and I. He was working remotely and the work space is separated from the bedroom/living space. And nothing can beat off street parking in Chicago! Thank you Gregory for a great stay. We will be back.

Perfect Stay

Arrived at property and got greeted by property manager and the checkin process was quick and efficient. The entire place was clean and organized. Really relaxing and made my first vacation stay comfortable. I would 10/10 recommend to anyone who wants to stay in Chicago for a short or long stay. One thing I would say is that if you are traveling mainly 2 or 3 people can share the whole space but was perfect for me and also convenient location for food places. Had my first Chicago deep dish pizza and the delivery was quick. Perfect stay-cation.
