“The cottage is just a described on vrbo. Everything in great condition. We had some issues with the washing machine/tumble dryer. This was solved immediately by Liz an Alan. The owners are very helpful. Thank you both for helping me with my car trouble. We would definitely come back and stay at this location again.”

“We were a group of 4 friends who met at University (a long time ago!).We’re spread across the country so this location just off the M40 was ideal. The facilities are great. Where else can you find the exclusive use of a tennis court, swimming pool and a snooker table?! The owner’s communication before and during our stay were first class. Check-in was very easy.No issues at all and you can safely ignore other reviews about the motorhomes causing parking problems -they are blocked parked down...

“We loved this home! It has so much charm. It is old, yet was updated in a way that doesn’t change the vibe. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and we enjoyed the goodie bag! I wish we could have stayed longer. ”

“Communication was amazing, the house was beautiful and the garden was so lovely. Set in such a pretty area with pubs and other things nearby. ”

“The house itself is nice but when we arrived there was a lot of rubbish around the house. The kitchen lacked glasses, cutlery, pots and pans. We bought glasses ourselves and the rest was brought after two days. The WiFi was not working and consequently the TV didn't go either. A new WiFi was dropped at the house after five (!) days which we installed ourselves but the TV still didn't work. At one day somebody stood in front of the house and wanted to show it to somebody who was interested to buy...

“Spacious cosy well equipped property, comfortable beds, great showers. Steam train at bottom of garden which was fun. Could do with an instruction booklet in the house ( as although instruction videos good) couldn’t work out how to turn on fire in large sitting room.”

We loved having modern amenities with all the charm of this converted barn in a small village. The property includes a small apple orchard, lovely garden and patio with table and chairs. “Just a one night stay. Hosts were friendly and helpful.The property was clean and furnished to a high standard. Very close to the showground, which is where we were going with our dog, who enjoyed the outside space. Would thoroughly recommend this property. Hopefully be returning.”
