“Easy property to find and park at. Quite large and rambling. Great that we could close off a room to retain heat. Kitchen facilities were excellent, with a full-sized fridge/freezer and a bar fridge. Bedrooms are large with plenty of room. Having a third toilet downstairs makes life so much easier. Comfortable place to stay.Easy to walk into Church Stretton for shopping and browsing.Loved being situated in the Shropshire Hills with magnificent views.”

“Came down to Shrewsbury for a family reunion, we booked this place as it was very fair priced for every it had to offer. We had a lovely time, the house is in an amazing location, basically in the town centre! The interior was clean and tidy. I can happily recommend booking with this host!”

“very private, huge gardens, lovely welcome basket. very comfortable beds with fresh bed linens and towels, plenty of hot water and of course the hot tub!only thing we could say is the walls/kitchen windows and banister were a bit grubby, they really need a good clean . excellent location to access local attractions and a fab pub a couple of miles away serving gorgeous food.star gazing was beautifulX we could see the milky way”

“The home is in an ideal location, right in the heart of town, with easy access to shops and restaurants, as well as walks up the hills. It’s very comfortable, with everything that my wife, son, and I needed for our stay. ”

“We were staying overnight for a Conference in Telford, so it was ideally situated. Communications were good and clear instructions for accessing the property. An enclosed garden was good to let our dogs outside safely. Well equipped, with everything needed and plenty of hot water in the shower. ”

“Fantastic property, well equipped with plenty to do, the house was spotlessly clean, kids and adult enjoyed all the sports activities on offer and the par 3 golf course is excellent, overall a fabulous stay”

“Fab house for my family of 7 to celebrate my birthday!Perfect position in the town for cafes, pubs and restaurants and shops. Also close to river where safe to swim which we all enjoyed…highlight as so hot Only down side could not get in till 4pm (3pm would have been more acceptable as would 11am on day of departure instead of 10am) requested but had to pay extra!”

“It was a lovely stay at the apartment. It had everything we needed and it was clean and tidy when we arrived. We didn't spend a huge amount of time in the apartment but there was enough space for the kids to play.”

"booked a single room for two nights. I stayed in room number 100 and had a 90 bed set in a corner and a view from the window right into a wall. Nothing like the room I had booked on the website. There was a smell of mold in the room and urine in the toilet. I went down to reception after the first night to ask to change rooms and told about the smell. received a reply from the reception who spoke to the hotel manager who told me that the smell is due to the fact that they have just repainted the room and changed the carpet and that they will not arrange a new room for me. Which was a lie because the room was neither repainted nor had a new carpet and I can tell the difference in urine, mold and paint. Poor service from reception and manager but the friendly woman working at breakfast was phenomenal. I will visit beautiful Shrewsbury again but never the Prince Rupert Hotel."
