“Our party comprised 4 adults and a small dog. The cottage has mountain views from every window. It is spacious and clean. Our only neighbours were sheep! It is an easy walk into Keswick, on a good footpath. We loved our stay and hope to come again. ”

“The cottage is so homely and had everything you needed! Definitely a home from home. Hot tub was a fantastic edition. We also used the pizza oven one evening. Both bathrooms had powerful and hot showers. The host was very attentive and responded within hours of sending a message. Location is just picture perfect, with Ennerdale Water a 2 min drive away with plenty parking. There isn’t much else to do, other than walk at the lake, it was very quiet and peaceful. There are 2 pubs within walking...

“Everything we could want and need for a great holiday in the Lake District. The cottage was comfortable, clean, with comfortable beds and bedding, warm and quiet. It had everything we needed to cook when we didn't eat out in one of the many pubs and restaurants that can be found. Great location for walking in the Lake District. Can walk from the cottage. No walking maps or books in the cottage but the property company offered us these if we needed them and they were located a very short distance...

“Great week in Grasmere with ten of us comfortably accommodated in this house. A few minutes walk from the centre of Grasmere with its cafes, pubs and restaurants and on the doorstep of some stunning Lakes hikes and bike rides. Highly recommend bbq and drinks in the beautiful gardens as the sun goes down. Fabulous Lake District experience.”

“The cottage is very well equipped, has great views and a comfortable lounge. Despite feeling away from it all you are only a 10 minute drive from Keswick (and also has a good bus service if you want to leave the car behind). We took an amazing bus ride over the Whinlatter pass to Buttermere then on over the Honister pass and up the valley alongside Derwent Water. It is in an ideal spot for walking the Northern Fells and being accessible for the bars and restaurants in Keswick. Be aware that...
